MIC College of Technology offers admission to B.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in the state level entrance known as the AP EAMCET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have passed at the 10+2 level from the science stream to be eligible to apply.

AP EAMCET consists of a 3-hour paper with 90 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the engineering field.

There are a total of 160 questions.
The paper consists of MCQs and the test is conducted online.

A qualified visiting doctor is available regularly on the campus at a specific time. For emergencies, a vehicle is made available to take the students to the nearby hospitals in kanchikacherla and Vijayawada. The college and the hostel have a complete arrangement for students in need of medical assistance. There is a provision of a first aid/ medical room with the facilities required for medical assistance. The college has the arrangement for a part-time doctor and a full-time female medical assistant in need of an emergency. Medical assistance to students: health center, health insurance, etc. First Aid kit is available in each department. In case of emergency, the ambulance from the State Government’s Emergency Medical services is sought. Special care is provided for hostel students with vehicle availability in an emergency. There is a nurse on duty during college hours every day. A doctor is available twice a week. Medicines are provided free of cost.

IT Infrastructure

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Transport

The College operates about 43 well-maintained and conditioned buses for commuting students from various parts in and around Vijayawada to the college campus. College also operates 2 A.C buses for senior faculty of the college. GPRS system has been implemented and the speed limit has been set up to ensure the safe travel of the students and staff. All safety guidelines of the A.P government are being followed including the installation of speed governors to limit the speed. A separate maintenance section is being maintained at Vijayawada to keep the buses in good condition and to take care of routine maintenance.
Laboratorie

The college has all laboratories that are well equipped and well maintained not only for carrying out curriculum-oriented lab practicals but also to carry out research activities. The college has a second shift Diploma program for which we use the classrooms and laboratories. The same laboratories can be used for even and odd semesters for different lab subjects. When the Lab slots are free the Lab equipment is used for research projects by the students and staff.
