The college is located on high way in an area of 65 acres of scenic beauty at R.V.S. Nagar, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The College is located seven kilometers from Chittoor and 60 KM from Tirupathi, the famous hill shrine of Lord Sri Venkateswara.

The college has spacious well-designed, adequately furnished and ventilated classrooms. All the laboratories of engineering and sciences are well equipped with the required equipments. The college is facilitated with a 250KVA capacity generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the conduct of academic activities. The laboratories and workshops are fully equipped with the state-of-art of facilities; particularly the computer centre, CAD/CAM center, Automated Library; Digital Library, internet and language labs are value added assets to the college.

The library has total books volumes of 73747 and 10751 titles, 134 national journals, and 30 international journals and 4861 Online Journals. The students are encouraged to make full use of the library and other facilities. The college and hostels are equiped with wifi and LAN with 230 Mbps high speed Internet connectivity.

The college has accomplished remarkable growth in the past twenty two years. The students’ admission has been growing steadily year-by-year as in the case, in the first cradle year, i.e. 1998 the sanctioned intake was 180, which has now increased to 1926.SVCET has students from 43 countries and 18 states of india. As the intake of students multiplies, the infrastructure of the college, which is constantly under expansion to keep pace with the growing need and trends of technology. In this short span of time, SVCET enjoys the reputation of being one of the best engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh nestled in serene atmosphere providing quality education. Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology offers a full-time 4-year B.Tech in 10 specializations with an intake of 1260 seats.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of performance in AP EAMCET conducted by JNTU.

SVCET Chittoor M.Tech Admission 2022

SVCET offers two-year M.Tech in 13 specializations with an intake of 246 seats. Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech in the relevant field to be eligible for admission. Those with an MCA or M.Sc. in CS/ IT/ Software or M.Sc.in Mathematics or Physics are also eligible for some specializations.

Admission to M.Tech is based on the valid score in AP PGECET. Admission is also done on the basis of valid score in GATE.

The college offers 3-year Diploma courses in 4 specializations with total 300 seats. A 5-year dual degree course in Computer Application and Applied Management is also offered by the college with 60 seats each.

For Diploma courses, candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board. For Dual degree courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 to be eligible for admission.

Admission to Diploma and Dual Degree courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

SVCET offers a 3-year MCA course at the PG. Lateral Entry to MCA is also offered by the college. Apart from MCA, the college also offers 2-year MBA program.

Boys Hostel
The SVCET College, Chittoor provides Hostel accommodation for Boys. The hostels are situated just 0.5km from college. Bus facility is available for students in between college and hostel. Boy’s hostel has presently 269 rooms and it is under expansion to cater to the increasing number of students seeking admission into the hostel. SVCET has the newest facilities for students include Multi Gymnasium hall for (Men & women ). A central multi-facility piece of equipment enables several enthusiasts to work out at the same time in one of the gymnasia. The library has total books volumes of 49348 and 8223 titles, 132 national journals, and 74 international journals along with 34 magazines and 752 IEEE Online Journals. The students are encouraged to make full use of the library and other facilities.

The department of physical education is headed by Sri G B Reddy, Physical Director. The department has sufficient supporting staff to help the students and faculty members in using fitness, sports and games facilities. Management of SVCET, Chittoor has identified Sports and Games is the priority area for budget allocation and development from the inception of College. We, the Management, Principal, Staff, and Students of SVCET, Chittoor believe that a healthy and agile mind is the stepping stones of Sports and Games development.
