Central University of South Bihar

Central University of South Bihar was established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009. The University has been accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘A’ and has also been ranked at #1 and #56 by EWI Bihar and EWI India respectively. It is also approved by AICTE and UGC. University offers choice-based credit system for different programmes with elective courses where the students’ performances are evaluated at the undergraduate level, postgraduate level, doctoral level, and integrated courses. - - Boys Hostel
    Number of students accommodated at the hostels every year with basic amenities which are needed by the students during their stay. All the resources which are available during their stay are mentioned in the rules and regulations as granted by statutory authorities.
    Girls Hostel
    Separate hostels are available at the campus for the girls to accommodate multiple numbers of students as taken by the management. Here students are provided with daycare facilities, and a biodiversity park for students to relax.
    Medical/Hospital
    The health care centre at the campus is located in “Chanakya Bhavan” where the centre is provided with separate wards for males and females, consultation rooms, dressing rooms, and a nursing room. Services are provided 24*7 with a nurse, dresser, medical officer, and pharmacist along with an ambulance facility.

    Students have a spacious library where they can spend their time in reading the necessary books which are required by them. There are numerous books for the students to refer to. Well maintained and well stocked with the latest books and journals.

    Students can participate in various sports activities conducted by the university. Indoor and outdoor sports are available at the campus for the students to participate in when they have free time.
