ILI Delhi offers one-year LL.M and PG Diploma courses in law disciplines at postgraduate level. Selection for LL.M program is done on the basis of marks obtained in ILICAT. Key Points: 

  1. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply but need to provide the passing certificate at the time of admission.
  2. LL.B or MA in Social Sciences is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to PG Diploma in Labour Law. Commencement of this course will subject to enrollment of at least 40 students.
  3. The institute offers a scholarship of INR 30000 to top two students on the basis of All India Law Admission Test merit.

Indian Law Institute - ILI Scholarships and Funding

The Institute offers scholarships of Rs.30,000/- per annum to the students admitted in ILI in order of merit of the All India Admission Test to the first two students admitted to 1st Year LL.M. degree programme. The scholarship will be awarded in three installments one at the time of admission, 2nd& 3rd after the declaration of 1st and 2nd-semester result. The scholarship will be given only if the student obtains GPA/CGPA of ‘A’ Grade or above in the university examinations and maintains the quality of research submitted by him/her during the course of study.

The institute offers scholarship under different schemes like Central scheme, UGC scheme, AICTE scheme, and State scheme.

Indian Law Institute, New Delhi has a training and placement cell to organise the placement procedure for the students. Students are also provided training programmes on personality development and communication skills and help them prepare better for the recruitment process.   • Invitation- The T&P cell of Indian Law Institute, New Delhi coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure. The Training and Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.

 

  • Registration- Students need to register themselves with the T&P cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.

 

  • Slot-Allocation- Recruiters will then fix dates with ILI New Delhi to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including written test, group discussion and interview. 

 

  • Pre-Placement Talk- Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware about the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.

 

  • Written Test- Students of the institute also need to appear and qualify a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
