College Overview

A multidisciplinary private university in Gurugram with strong industry partnerships and legacy schools in architecture, design, business and law.

Sushant University, earlier known as Ansal University, was established in 2012 under the Haryana Private Universities Act. The campus is located in Gurugram (Golf Course Road extension / Aravalli foothills) and offers UG, PG and PhD programmes through schools of Engineering & Technology, Business, Law, Design, Art & Architecture, Health Sciences, Hospitality and Planning & Development.

The university is recognised by UGC and its professional programmes hold approvals from bodies such as AICTE, BCI, PCI and COA (for engineering, law, pharmacy and architecture respectively). Many programmes are offered in collaboration with industry partners (UpGrad, Siemens, Bosch, NIIT, etc.) to keep the curriculum aligned with current technologies and job roles.

Sushant University positions itself as an “industry-integrated” campus: live projects, mandatory internships, design studios, moot courts, hotel training labs and simulation centres are embedded into most programmes so that students graduate with both conceptual knowledge and practical exposure.

Admissions & Entrance Tests

How Sushant University admits students into different programmes.

UG Admissions

Most UG programmes (BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, hotel management, several health-science and design courses) use Class 12 merit plus university-level tests / interviews.

  • Minimum 50% in 10+2 from a recognised board (higher for some programmes).
  • Some courses accept CUET / state counselling ranks (e.g. select B.Tech / B.Sc programmes).
  • Personal interaction / counselling round may be conducted by schools.

PG Admissions (MBA, M.Des, M.Tech, others)

PG programmes generally require a relevant bachelor’s degree with 50–55% and valid test scores (where applicable).

  • MBA: CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / GMAT or Sushant’s own test, followed by GD / PI.
  • M.Tech: GATE scores or university entrance; some specialisations are industry-integrated (e.g. AI & ML, Smart Cities).
  • M.Des: CEED / SU-DAT + portfolio review and interview.
  • Health sciences / pharmacy PG: relevant UG programme + entrance as per school norms.

Law Admissions

School of Law offers integrated 5-year programmes and 3-year LLB along with LLM and PhD in Law.
