WUD is India’s first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, The university is established by the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 with the right to confer degrees under Section 2(f) and 22(I) of the UGC Act. All degrees of WUD are UGC approved.

WUD is promoted by Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational & Social Welfare Trust of Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab having over 2 decades of rich experience in establishing & running premier educational institutions. The trust is guided by the visionary industrialist Chairman Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal with the simple aim of imparting quality education and producing society worthy individuals.

WUD Sonepat offers UG, PG and Diploma courses in the discipline of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Business Administration, etc. Tabulated below are the details of same:

World University of Design Admission

Online Mode

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university and go to the ‘Admission’ tab.

Step 2: Click on ‘Register and Apply Online’.

Step 3: Fill all the required details and pay the application fee of INR 1,000 through Debit/ Credit/ Net Transfer.

Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’.

Offline Mode

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university and go to the ‘Admissions’ tab.

Step 2: Go to the ‘Admission Procedure’ and click on ‘Download Application Form’.

Step 3: Download and take a print out of the application form.

Step 4: Fill all the required details in the application form.

Step 5: Send the duly filled application form along with an Demand draft of INR 1000 drawn in favor of ‘WUD, Sonepat’ payable at Sonepat, Haryana World University of Design along with all the required documents to the address given below:

Boys Hostel

The University provides spacious, air-conditioned, wi-fi, semi-furnished hostel rooms with attached baths for boys off-campus. Construction of a new hostel is underway in the campus which become available for boys in future. The hostel kitchen has been designed by Master Chef Shaju Zacharia and is managed by well known institutional caterers. The hygienically produced, nutritious and tasty meals are consumed by students and staff alike. Hostels are wifi enabled. A separate laundry service is provided. There is a tuck shop to take care of routine daily requirements. Facilities also include a basic health care unit including a full-time nurse and a doctor on call.
Girls Hostel

WUD offers assured placement and entrepreneurial support through partner companies, industry network & incubation center. The current fashion batch, for example, got internships with brands like Reliance Retail, Fabindia, Future Group, Maxx, Shahi exports, Namrata Joshipura, Pallavi Mohan, etc. Multiple MoUs have been signed with some of the best studios in the country, opening possibilities for placements, industry projects, and internships. WUD maintains regular and intensive interaction with the industry. Its Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) will work closely with industry.
