Xavier School of Management (XLRI Jamshedpur) was established in 1949 by Fr. Quinn Enright, S.J. in the city of Jamshedpur. Xavier School of Management is spread over a campus size of 40 acres. It has a total faculty member of 77 along with a total of 1086 students. Xavier School of Management offers seven courses at the postgraduate level. XLRI is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business(AACSB) and Association of MBAs (AMBA). XLRI has collaborations with top reputed universities/institutes of the world. The institute offers a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students. Xavier School of Management also offers scholarships to needy and meritorious students. XLRI offers placement support to all the students of the institute. XLRI Jamshedpur has secured 8th position in NIRF rankings 2021 in the management category. XLRI has recently completed its 2022 final placement drive with a 100% placement percentage. 99 recruiters including 25 new recruiters visited the campus. XLRI Summer Internship Placements for the 2021-23 batch has also been concluded. A total of 470 students participated. Reputed recruiters like Coca Cola, Asian Paints, P&G and many more visited the campus. The highlights of the summer internship placement drive is mentioned below:

The highest stipend of INR 6.8 Lakhs per month was received.
An average stipend of INR 1.28 Lakhs per month was offered to the students.
Top 10% of the students received an average stipend of INR 1.82 Lakhs per month.
Top 25% of the students received an average stipend of INR 1.63 Lakhs per month.
The median stipend stood at INR 1.27 Lakhs per month.
Most of the internship offers were made from the consulting/advisory, IT & e-commerce domains.

XLRI Scholarships

XLRI Jamshedpur offers institution-sponsored and other organization sponsored scholarships to PGDM BM and PGDM HRM students. Following scholarships are available for First and Second year PGDM students:

XLRI Diamond Jubilee (Juniors): The first year HRM and BM students are offered Merit-cum-Need scholarships upto INR 2,55,000 Lakhs.
XLRI Diamond Jubilee (Seniors): Second year HRM and BM students are eligible for scholarship upto INR 2,85,000 Lakhs based on Merit-cum-Need.
OP Jindal Engineering & Management: The scholarship is offered based on Merit-cum-Online Test and Interview. The total amount offered to the awardee is INR 1,50,000 Lakhs.
Aditya Birla Scholarship: This is a merit-based scholarship that awards INR 175000 Lakhs Per year. Both First year and Second year students are eligible for this scholarship.

Classrooms

There are 12 state-of-the-art classrooms with multimedia presentation support. The seating arrangement is amphitheater style and each lecture hall has a capacity for 70. These classrooms also support closed-circuit recording and playback of lecture sessions. The four syndicate rooms are multi-purpose areas for other academic exercises. In addition to this, the new academic complex is equipped with the latest servers and workstations to facilitate the learning process.
Laboratorie

The Behavioral Research Lab at XLRI is equipped with cutting-edge hardware that allows for HD audio-video conferencing. Researchers can use a dedicated server client with application software for their benefit.
Swimming Pool

The students of the institute have access to a swimming pool, located close to the campus through affiliations with local sports authorities.
Alumni Associations

XLRI, being one of the oldest management schools in South Asia, has witnessed Alumni graduating from way back in 1949. Over 12,000 Alumni are working and serving reputed institutions across the world. The Institute keeps in touch with its Alumni through newsletters and major events that it organizes throughout the year. Alumni Homecoming is organized during the third weekend (Sat-Sun) of November every year. Alumni who have completed 25 years of graduation celebrate their silver jubilee around Christmas time.
