Loyola College of Social Sciences was established by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1963, the College offers courses in M A (Sociology), MSW (Masters in Social Work), MAHRM (Masters in Human Resource Management) and MSc Counseling Psychology. The College is associated to the University of Kerala and is a perceived Research Center of the University. The Center plans understudies for Ph.D. in Sociology, Social work and Management Studies and furthermore takes up supported research ventures. An undeniable Extension Services, Loyola Extension Services (LES) is remarkable component of the College. The LES goes about as the Social Lab of the College.

Consistent with the Jesuit convention of MAGIS (Excellence) and the pledge to Faith and Justice, Loyola endeavors to arrive at the advantages of advanced education to the individuals, particularly the minimized. In arriving at this objective, we are guided by the Ignatian vision of life and its application in Jesuit Education.

Boys Hostel

Separate hostels for men are available. Admissions to hostels will be made only after the student is admitted to the College.
Girls Hostel

Separate hostels for women are available. Admissions to hostels will be made only after the student is admitted to the College.
Library

Loyola Library is envisaged to serve the needs of our Faculty, Research Scholars, Students and other academic and is developed as an important repertoire of learning resources, functioning as the heart of the college.
Sports

The college has sports facilities for all students.
Cafeteria

The college canteen caters the canteen requirements of the student and staff community. It is managed by a team of specialists in culinary art and cuisines headed by Mr. Thankayyan.
Auditorium

An audio-visual hall with facilities of television, slide projector, LCD projector and overhead projector is available for the use of staff and students. Every two classrooms are provided with an overhead projector and is constantly used. A separate computer with multimedia facility is made available for classroom teaching and seminars.
Medical/Hospital

Health rooms are available for both male and female students.
IT Infrastructure

The well-equipped Computer Centre offers courses to the students and staff in the latest word processing and data analysis packages. Internet and email facilities are available.
Transport

The college has a mini bus, Tavera and an Omni van which are used on a regular basis to meet the everyday transportation requirements of the college. The college also shares the transportation facilities of Loyola School which is situated on the same campus and managed by the Jesuit Society.
Convenience Store

A store supplies essential stationery within the college premises.
