Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal OverviewThe Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal (IIIT Bhopal) is one of the newest campuses opened by the Ministry of Human Resource Development with assistance from the Joint Seat Allocation authority. IIIT Bhopal was established in Established In : 2017 and it is working towards making its way into the best colleges for engineering in the country. Falling among the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology in India, IIIT Bhopal is also formed under the model of non-profit TYPE : Public TYPE : Private Partnership (PPP) by MHRD. Its establishment was done by the collaboration of MHRD, the TYPE : Government of India, the TYPE : Government of Madhya Pradesh, and TYPE : Private Industry Partners with the contribution in the ratio of 50:35:15.IIIT Bhopal is functioning in the campus of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology at present. The Bhopal TYPE : Government has assigned an area of 50 acres for constructing the permanent campus of IIIT Bhopal. The main objective of this institute is to provide adequate facilities for research, training and higher education in several fields of Information Technology. In the two years of its existence, IIIT Bhopal has gained immense popularity with students from all across the country taking admission in its courses. It offers the degree of Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) in three courses.IIIT Bhopal follows the admission process of other IIITs and selects candidates on the basis of their ranks in the entrance exam of JEE Mains. The selection process of IIIT Bhopal is rigorous and candidates have to secure decent ranks to grab a seat in the institute. The first batch to graduate from this institute will be in the year 2021. The IIIT Bhopal placement process will be similar to that of other IIITs and NITs. Some companies will come for campus placement and follow the known pattern to recruit the candidates.
