Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal OverviewThe Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT) is the first Institution of the Sagar Group of Institutions and it features among some of the top engineering colleges in MP. It is a part of the Sagar Group of Institutions which is also known as Sagar Group or SIRT College in Bhopal. The Sagar Group offers courses in Engineering, Pharmacy,  and Management. Sagar Group also constitutes a number of sister colleges such as SIRT, SIRT-S, SIRT-E, and SIRT-Indore with more than 25 courses. The Sagar Group also hosts many events for the students to enhance their skills and for their personality development. The group was founded with the objective to mould students into professionals who can excel in their respective fields and learn to deal with the challenges they encounter in the global scenario. Currently, the college provides admissions in Bachelor in Technology, Master in Technology, Bachelor in Pharmacy, Master in Business Administration and other diploma programs. B. Tech is available in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering. MBA courses are offered in various specialisations. Students can opt for Mechanical Engineering in M.Tech while Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering for Diploma in Engineering. The college also provides lateral entry admissions directly in the second year. Students applying for the second year or the first year have to check eligibility before proceeding for the admission process.The placement cell of the Sagar Group of Institutions provides result-oriented and need-based training programs that help students to get an advantage while appearing for the placement process. The main objectives of the placement cell are to assist students for final training, help in updating their communication skills and personality development by inviting experts for guest lectures. Students at Sagar Group of Institutions are hired for companies through campus recruitment drives, off-campus placement drives, and job fairs. As the placement cell aims to train students in different sectors, they organise company visits, conduct tech festivals, and many other activities.
