National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai OverviewNational Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is a top B-School formerly known as National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering. The institute was established over 50 years ago by the TYPE : Government of India. NITIE Mumbai is an autonomous body under the ministry of HRD. It is a reputed postgraduate institute located in Powai near Vihar Lake, Mumbai.NITIE is AICTE approved and the courses of the college are NBA accredited. The college is recognized by the ministry of HRD as the center of excellence in the country along with the 6 IIMs, 7 IITs, and IISc.  The institute has been ranked 12th among all the Management Institutes and ranked 36th among all the Engineering Institutes in the country as per the NIRF Ranking.
