G.H.G. Harparkash College of Education is located in natural surroundings of village Sidhwan Khurd on Ludhiana -Ferozepur road at a distance of thirty kilometers from Ludhiana. this faculty is a renowned center of rural girls education ANd has become an icon of girls education. This cluster of institutes was initiated by an excellent visionary Bhai Sahib Bhai Narain Singh ji in 1909 i.e. 103 years agone. He himself, his partner Mata Ram Kaur terrorist organization and his female offspring Bibi Harparkash Kaur terrorist organization devoted their whole lives for the sake of girls education. an academic trust beneath the name of Sri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd was established in 1934 and Bhai European Bhai Narain Singh terrorist organization became initial president of the trust.

Girls Hostel

Excellence hostel facilities are available on the campus. The hostel is equipped with all the amenities. The hostel warden looks after the hostel.

Equipment and apparatus for demonstration in school classes are issued to science students during teaching practice.

Placement cell

The goal of Placement Cell is to provide prospective teachers with a platform for using their potential to gain valuable experience by working in schools. It also acts as the interface between various schools seeking effective teachers.

Training

All the B.Ed Students undergo internship & training of 16 weeks in the 3rd Semester. It is organized in various schools in surrounding areas. There are many reputed schools in which our students get trained like GHG Academy, Jagraon. Guru Teg Bahadur National Public School, Dakha, Guru Nanak Public School, Mullanpur, GHG Public Sen. Sec. School, Sidhwan khurd.

Placements

Our students are placed in various reputed schools of Punjab, other states as well as abroad. The college authorities provide recommendation letter to students who wish to work abroad. Many of our students are working in various schools situated in different countries.

The placement cell conveys information to the students at the fastest possible rate. Important advertisements regarding jobs and related information are displayed on a common bulletin board. In order to orient B.Ed students with latest strategies of teaching and learning, expert lectures and national seminars are organized. It also provides a platform for the budding teachers to interact with educationists from various educational institutes.
