Dasmesh Girls College, Muktasar, was established in 2005 and it is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is accredited by NAAC. The Institution is catering the educational needs of rural area. The College offers the Bachelor and Master of Education Courses.

Girls Hostel

The Campus has two hostels. Hostel No. 1 is a triple stored and complex comprising 94 rooms equipped with excellent furniture, ceiling fans, and desert coolers. Hostel No. 2 has 15 well-furnished rooms. Both the hostels have their own ultramodern mess, water Purifiers, water coolers, solar water heating system with electricity backup in the absence of sunlight. The two hostels can accommodate 300 students.
Gym

The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Library

The college has a library that is the storehouse of knowledge. The college owns a well-stocked library consisting of approximately 14000 books, 12 journals pertaining to various subjects, 33 magazines, and 6 daily newspapers. It has access to e-books and e-journals through N-List, of UGC-INFONET. The library is housed in a well-designed double-story building and it has well-lit commodious reading rooms with a seating capacity of 100 readers. Two desktops are provided with an internet facility. The library provides membership to old students of the college and research scholars also.

Auditorium

An auditorium with a seating capacity of approximately 1000 audiences is another gem in the infrastructure of the college. College functions, seminars, and conferences are held here.

The College has provides two fully air-conditioned computer labs equipped with computer systems with the latest hardware and software along with internet facilities that are built for computer classes.

The college has Home Science Labs: Well-equipped labs play an important role in imparting the proper knowledge in practical subjects. The home science department has a well-furnished Cooking lab with LPG Gas stoves, refrigerator, microwave oven, and other culinary items, a Clothing and Textile lab with sewing machines and washing machines, and a Home Resource Management lab. English Language Lab: Fully A.C. English language lab is equipped with learning facilitators and gadgets ranging from an LCD projector, LED screen, Computer Systems, headphones, microphones, and software like sky pronunciation that help the students to develop their communication skills as they play. Bio-Technology Labs: For the vertical progress in the field of education, the college runs a job potential modern course like Bio-Technology (Hons.). The department has well-equipped labs: Micro-Biology lab, BioInformatics lab with internet facility, Bio-Chemistry lab, and Plant Tissue Culture Lab. Science Labs: Physics and chemistry labs are well equipped according to the requirement of Non-Medical and Biotech students. Cosmetology Lab: The college offers Add-on-Course in cosmetology and to fulfill its requirement it has set up a cosmetology lab.
