PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul was established in 1984. The Institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college lies over an area of 150 acres of land. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). PSNA CET has a total of 6511 Students, 439 Faculty members with 131 Ph.D holders and 365 Supporting Staff members. The college also offers a number of infrastructural and academic facilities to the students, faculty and staff members of the Institute.

PSNA CET is located in Kothandaraman Nagar, Tamil Nadu. The nearest airport from the Institute is the Madurai Airport which is 90.4 km away and students can reach the campus in approximately 1 hr 30 mins. The nearest railway station from PSNA College of Engineering and Technology is the Dindigul Junction Railway Station which is 1.11 km away and students can reach the campus in about 3-5 mins.

PSNACET B.E & B.Tech Admission 2022

PSNA College of Engineering & Technology (PSNACET) offers 4-year B.E courses under 6 disciplines and B.Tech degree in Information Technology. Admissions to B.E program at PSNACET are based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, reduced to 200, where 100 marks will be allotted to Mathematics and 100 for the other two subjects. Admissions will be conducted through TNEA counselling.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% average marks put together of all the three subjects.

User Facts:

The children of Central Government employees will also be eligible for admissions even if they are not domicile of the state, provided their parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu for past 5 years.
Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers are also eligible to apply.
Applicants who are not the residents of the State but have completed their 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, 12^th from Tamil Nadu will be eligible to apply for admissions without having to enclose their nativity certificate.

PSNACET M.E, MBA & MCA Admission 2022

PSNACET offers M.E, MBA and MCA courses at postgraduate level. It admits students to PG courses through the state level entrance exam conducted by Anna University i.e. TANCET. For admission to the M.E program, the candidates must hold the B.Tech/ B.E degree with at least 50% marks. Relaxation of 5% will be given to the candidates of the reserved categories.

Minimum educational qualification for applicants for MBA and MCA programs is a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-year duration and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories).

The entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode for the duration of 2-hour. The applications have to be submitted offline. Forms can be downloaded from the official web portal. Merit list after the entrance exam will be available at the campus and on the official website.

User Facts:

The Applicants who have a valid GATE score need to apply through the separate forms available for GATE qualified candidates.
GATE qualified candidates will not have to appear for the written entrance exam.
TANCET rank will be deduced after normalization of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
Counselling of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted through Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA).
After counseling schedule is announced, candidates will have to attend TANCA process for the verification of documents, seat allotment and confirmation of admission process.

PSNACET Application Process 2022

Candidates can apply for the B.E, B.Tech, M.E, MBA and MCA courses by following the given steps:

The candidates have to apply for TANCET and TNEA through the official portal only.
For TANCET applications, the candidates need to register with a valid e-mail ID, phone number and password.
Fill the mandatory details and upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature.
Proceed to pay the application fee. The application fee for General category candidates is INR 500 (INR 250 for the reserved categories)
The application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit cards or Net Banking.
For TNEA application forms, the candidates need to click on the “register” tab on the home page of the website.
After the successful completion of registration process, the applicants must fill the personal details and academic qualification details.
Attach the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the hard copy of the duly filled in form:
1. Class 10^th mark sheet
2. Class 12^th mark sheet
3. Transfer certificate issued by school
4. Caste certificate (if applicable)
5. Nativity certificate
6. Relevant certificates for the children of Ex-servicemen/ freedom fighters.

Boys Hostel

The institution has 5Gents Hostels. All the hostels are offered with Reverse Osmosis drinking water facility and zero-power cut facility. There are stationary marts and coin-phones installed for the benefit of hostel inmates. Healthcare facilities are provided to men and women students by visiting doctors. Two ambulances with Stretcher and Oxygen cylinder are available in the hostel to take care of the emergency situations of the students and staff of the institution. The hostels also have provision for indoor and outdoor games and other facilities like STD Booth, Photocopying, Stationery and General store. Both Gents hostels and Ladies hostels facilitated with 50 Nos of Ubiquiti wifi access points for the benefit of the hostel inmates, to do web browsing.

The Library is functioning in a separate building having a built-up area of 2502 Sqm and it has a seating capacity of 400. In addition to the Central library, there are departmental libraries in each department, which borrows books from the main library for quick reference. The library has 91370 volumes of books on 39298 titles covering all disciplines of engineering and technology, science & humanities & Management studies. The library also has a collection of 5583 back volumes of journals and magazine and 10274 Nonbook materials which includes educational oriented CDs, audio, video cassettes, NPTEL Videos, E-Books, and Monographs. Anna University previous years questions papers are available from the year 2003 to current year for students’ reference. The library subscribes more than 2628 scholarly journals under the AICTE INDEST Consortium. The library provides On-line access to a large number of full-text journals from IEEE, ASME, ASCE, Elsevier, and J-Gate (JSMS); Apart from the E-journals, the library subscribed 124 print versions of the journals from various publishers.
Sports

The college has the sports facilities for all students.
Cafeteria

The college cafeteria with a built-up area of 631 Sq. m has three spacious sections separately for men students, women students, faculty, and visitors. These three sections together can accommodate 500 members at a time. Canteen (cafeteria) is located on the campus with hygienic food, purified drinking water, comfortable ventilation, toilet facility, photocopying facility, printing facility. In addition to this cafeteria, three tea/coffee shops are located, one behind the EEE block, one near the first year block and one in front of the CSE block to facilitate the students and staff for having snacks, hot and cool drinks
Auditorium

Sri Rangalatchumi and Civil-Mechanical air-conditioned auditoriums with the seating capacity of 550 and 350 respectively. These apart, there are two well-equipped air-conditioned seminar halls for conducting International and National academic programmes such as Seminars, Symposia, Workshops and Placement activities.
Medical/Hospital

PSNA College of Engineering and Technology entered into an e-revolution by making its entire campus Wi-Fi(Wireless Fidelity). There are numerous benefits of having Wi-Fi as an overlay network. First, it provides laptop users with a seamless mobile connection to the corporate network (intranet and Internet) for browsing, presentations, and documents.
IT Infrastructure

2010 computer systems available in our college. Servers like HP Rx 2660, Dell power edge, HP Proliant DL380, HP Proliant ML150 G3 and workstations like HP XW-4300, DELL Precision 370n and Desktop pcs like Dell Optiplex, Dell Vostro, Lenovo Think centre, Hp elite 7100 with core i7, corei5, core i3, AMD Athlon XP 64 processors are available in the campus. We are having the licensed Softwares such as Windows 2012 server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0, Windows 10/8.1/7/ XP professional, Adobe creative suite 3.0, Oracle 10g, IBM rational rose in the campus. Besides, Main computer center of the college is equipped with 232 computers for internet surfing and curriculum activity. This center is functioning from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and each department are provided with a separate computer laboratory and they are interconnected through optic fiber cable. The campus has 24 hours internet facility with 256 Mbps (1:1) connectivity through dedicated leased line from AirTel (236 Mbps)and TATA (20 Mbps) and 104 Wi-Fi hotspots implemented for the benefit of students and faculty, to gain expertise in advanced computer applications which are being accessed at all times. This institution is equipped with e- Campus Management Software and digital library to improve the operational efficiency and overall productivity of the students.
Transport

Fifty-four college buses are available for the use of Students and staff. Separate college bus is operating for the benefit of students and staff coming from Palani, Batlangundu, Kodai road and Madurai.Further Tamilnadu government state Transport corporation, Dindigul, operates a special bus exclusively for students both in the morning and evening. There is a Railway station stop namely kothandaraman Nagar station at the rear side of the main building. Madurai to Coimbatore Express train stops at the college both in the morning and evening. It enables the students and the staff from Madurai to reach the college.
