The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The central library is an essential component of MIT’s educational mission. The library has a well-rounded collection of 122432 volumes of books divided into 14190 titles. These include textbooks, foundation books, and books on subsidiary readings. The Library has a carpet area of about 1594.64 square meters and is capable of accommodating 470 students at a time to carry out any kind academic activity such as reading books and journals. The library has the wide collection of latest books and journals and CD-ROM in the field of Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Humanities and Social Sciences. It subscribes to various national and international journals in print beside a large number of e-journals through IEEE, Springer, ASME, ASCE, J-Gate, EBSCO, Bentham, Nature and Scientific American. Library Working Hours 9:30 am. – 10:00 pm on weekdays 9:30 am. – 12:00 (midnight) during exam days 9:00 am. – 5:00 pm on off days

The college has the sports facilities for all students.

MIET has a canteen that provides nourishing refreshments like snacks, tea, cold drinks, coffee, fast food and lunch. MIET also has an exclusive “Amul Parlour” to refresh students with the variety of hygienic Amul Products.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

A senior Medical Officer is available six days a week daily during evening hours on campus to provide medical consultation to students and staff. The Medical Officer also dispenses medicines free of cost for common ailments. In addition, the Institute provides 24 hours ambulance services in case of emergency only. Subharti Medical College and hospital is also located very close, just next door to the institution (1 km); students, faculty, and staff avail its services whenever needed. Internet facility is available to students through a dedicated leased line of 42 Mbps with optical fiber backbone. The campus is WiFi enabled.

MIET has over 1500 I3, Core2 Dual, Dual Core, Pentium D of branded companies (HP, Dell, and Acer) computers arranged in 44 separate labs for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M. Pharma, B.Tech and B.Pharma students and a three Computer Centers well equipped with IBM and HP High-End Servers. MIET computer center is well equipped with latest Hardware and Software technology. All labs in the Institute are on structured LAN and secured with Firewall security system. Institute also has an RandD Network Lab with 15 enterprise HP workstations for fast data processing. Internet facility is available to students through a dedicated leased line of 42 Mbps with optical fiber backbone. The campus is WiFi enabled. Main Computer Lab remains open for 2 hours after institute timings for the excess of computers and internet for students.

Bus facility for students and staff is available covering almost all parts of Meerut and its neighbouring areas. 27 buses run daily to facilitate student. MIET is having bus services from Anand Vihar (via Mohan Nagar and Ghaziabad), Muzaffarnagar (via Khutauli) and Sadhana. To avail Transport Facility, please see SOP-ADMIN S03: Availing Institute Bus Facility. Bus services are provided on “no- profit, no- loss” basis. Fee has to be paid in one installment in advance at the beginning of session. The details of bus services of different routes are placed on all notice boards of the institute. Students have to deposit the bus fee at the account counter and fill up a form available in the registrar office with the copy of bus fee receipt at the starting of the session at the time of admission or registration. There is no provision to pay bus fee in installments. The students who want to avail bus facility in between the session will have to pay full bus fee. Students are required to obtain bus pass after depositing fees from main office. Bus facilities are also available to the students living in hostels to visit the city. Students are charged on the basis of actual. The bus users have to use the bus route number which is allotted to them by the bus in-charge; they cannot change or use bus by their own choice. To change the pickup or drop point, bus users have to take permission from transport in-charge. The students caught in the bus who are not availing the bus facility will be charged with full bus fee as fine. The girl student using institute bus cannot leave institute by their own conveyance, they have take leave from respective department followed by transport in-charge. The bus facility is provided to the student for regular institute schedule or to the examination center for main exam. No bus facility will be provided for carry over papers. If a lady faculty, girl student, old member or physically challenged student is found standing while traveling, it is expected that a seat is offered to them.

The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

MIET Shoppe stocks notebooks, stationery, and other items required by students during the course of their studies. It also provides photocopy, printing and binding facilities. Department of Postal & Telegraph, India has established an independent post office in the Campus named MIET Post Office with its Pin Code 250005 at the left of the gate including all the postal facilities.

The campus provides residential facilities for its faculty members who are from far-flung areas. There are 32 Nos. of 2-BHK family quarters for faculty members. Residential facilities for bachelor faculty members are also available in the boys and girls hostels. Well, the furnished guest house is also available in the campus.

A Punjab National Bank ATM is installed right at the gate to facilitate students.
