Doon University is one of the best Universities in the country and has been leading since its inception year 2009. The university is located in the year lush green serene location of Shivalik range and it aims to provide areas of research and methods of pedagogy. It is a unitary and fully residential university, follows the Credit System of Study. The university imparts education in various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research Level Courses.

The University has a very dynamic and committed faculty with a good academic profile. It has a very modern physical and research infrastructure which has gradually but steadily improved over the past few years. The University has well-equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories and computer facilities. Doon University Admission in various academic programs is based on Entrance tests, Group discussions and/ or interviews. It also accepts GATE for M.Tech programs.

Doon University Courses

Doon University Admission

The application form is available on the official website of the university for the admission in the varied range of courses available at the university. Eligible and Interested candidates are required to visit the university website and submit their applications.

To be eligible for admission to undergraduate courses, applicants should have passed class 12 in relevant discipline from a reputed board. Candidates having a graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for PG courses. Applicants seeking admission to Research programs must have a graduate degree.

The selection process consists of an entrance test followed by group discussion and interview round. Final selection is based on the overall performance of candidates.

For M.Tech program, applicants having GATE score are exempted from entrance test. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their marks are considered for GD and PI round.

The library is fully computerized having a collection of over a total of 40 print journals, 34 magazines, and 30 e-journals are subscribed by the library.
Also apart from this, the Library also provides access to more than 5000 e-journals through INFLIBNET consortia.
The Library subscribes to a total of 74 scholarly Journals and Magazines (40 Journals and 34 Magazines) covering a wide area of subjects.

Hostels: There are separate hostels for boys and girls on campus. Rooms are provided with single accommodation with all basic amenities in them.

Auditorium: The University has a 200 capacity Senate Hall/Auditorium which can be utilized for various symposiums, lectures, and events.
