JB Institute of Technology, Dehradun was established in 2009. The institution is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee. The institute offers diploma, B.E/B.Tech, and M.E/M.Tech courses to the students. JBIT Dehradun has been approved by the AICTE and PCI. The institute is spread over 25 acres of land and has a well-built infrastructure. Endeavor: This is the Hobby Club of the campus which is a major source of attraction as students can watch cricket matches at the club and there is a rink outside the place where students celebrate various festivals during college fest.
Entrepreneurship Club: This cell provides a platform and nurtures aspiring entrepreneurs to come up with innovative business ideas.
Abhivyakti: This is the cultural club of the institution which has students interested in Indian classical to Western hard rock and painting. The members also organises an art exhibition.
Tech Aakriti: The members of this technical club works to advance the effective use of technology in education in order to improve teaching and learning
Expressions: The members aim to enhance literary skills and develop logic and curiosity in the potential students and improve their communication skills.
Corporate Social Responsibility Club: The CSR Club works for the society for a social cause and imbibes a social spirit amongst students and takes initiative to organise Tree Plantation Drives, Blood Donation Camps and Road Safety Campaigns.

Educational Loans at JB Institute of Technology, [JBIT] Dehradun

JB Institute of Technology provides financial assistance to students in the form of an educational loan. The education loan covers not just the direct expenses such as tuition fees & registration/ examination fees but also allied expenses such as those for uniforms, lab equipment/ tools required for the course, travelling expenses, and laptop. Generally, for loans below INR 4 lakhs, students do not require a security or guarantor.
Female students are usually offered discounts and/ or lower interest rates on education loans.
The interest on this loan is eligible for student loan tax benefits under Section 80E of the IT Act.
For a higher loan amount (usually above INR 7.5 Lakhs), security in the form of fixed deposit, property, or other bank approved collateral is required.
The normal student loan repayment period is 5 to 7 years, but flexible options for settlement of education loans with a longer time period, i.e. 10 to 15 years is also available.
