Uttaranchal University was established in 2013 and is a group of institutes that includes Law College Dehradun (2002), Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (2006), Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, School of Agriculture, University Polytechnic and school of applied and life science (2016). School of Hospitality Management and School of Media and communication studies (2018), School of Liberal Arts (2019).
Uttaranchal University offers UG, PG courses in the fields of law, technology, management, pharmacy, agriculture, Polytechnic, Hospitality Management, media and communication and arts. Admissions are done based on the entrance examination, interview and merit depend upon the course.

Uttaranchal University Admission Process
The admissions are done based on entrance examination interview and merit which differ from course to course.
JEE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT and UUEE are the two entrance examinations through which students can take admission in B.Sc., B. Tech, etc courses. For other courses like BBA, BCA, LLB, LLM, BBA, LLB, Journalism, etc admission is granted on merit and interview.
Uttaranchal University Registration: How to Apply?
The admission process can be done through online and offline mode. The Admission process through offline mode is bulleted, check below:
- Fill the registration form properly
- Submit the registration form along with the required documents at University Admission Cell
- Registration fees of rupees 1200 have to be paid in cash or DD drew in favour of Uttaranchal University payable at Dehradun
- Domicile certificate it is necessary to apply for a course under Uttarakhand quota
Admission process through online mode:

- Click on sign up button
- Confirmation mail will be sent on your mail id along with registration link
- Open the registration link
- Register yourself by clicking on the login section
- Complete the registration process by following the instructions given in the form
- Pay registration fees that is Rs. 1200 and processing fees that is Rs. 50 through online payment gateways, debit card or credit card, internet banking, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, etc.
- Online receipt will be generated as a payment confirmation
- Online registration process will be complete following these steps
- Download and take print of the registration form as a record

Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship:
26% scholarship is given to the student of Uttarakhand domicile and 40% of the seats are reserved for the students throughout all the programs of the universityHill States Domicile Scholarship:
15% scholarship is provided to the students of Hindi states of India that are Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling and Siliguri. For claiming this scholarship, the student must have a valid domicile certificate at the time of admissionSushila Devi Scholarship for Girls:
10% Sushila Devi scholarship is provided to the students on tuition fees which is applicable for the first year for diploma, UG and PG programs
Scholarship to the wards of Defence Personnel:
- Five-person scholarship on tuition fees is granted to the son or daughter of Defence Personnel including Paramilitary that are ITBP, CRPF
Scholarship to the brother or sister of alumnus:
- five questions for she was provided to the brother or sister of alumnus but the condition is that the student must carry the following document in the time of admission that is Aadhar for valid ID proof of the student bearing the name of parent and certificate issued to alumnus bearing the names of parents
Scholarship to Siblings:
- 5% scholarship is provided to the siblings of the present student but the condition is that the student must carry the following document in the time of admission that is Aadhar for valid ID proof of the student bearing the name of parent and mark sheet issued bearing name of sibling and parents

Library:
Library of Uttaranchal University contains all the books related to the programs, journals and magazines. There is an e-service portal as well
Computer Centre:
the centre has high-performance computers with Windows Labs, state-of-the-art servers with the support of 1000 MBPS fibre optic network that connects academic department hostel, library, other blocks of the centre. The IIT Campus centre works 24 hours a day 365 days a year with connected with 70 MBPS high speed and uninterrupted connectivity
Auditorium:
Auditoriums has a capacity of 1200 students at one time with a sound system which comprises of 26 Yamaha speakers, dotted cinema screen, multiple motor operator, theatre curtains, control room, microphones, stage of hosting, fire alarm, safety system, etc
Hostel:
The capacity of the hostel is wide for the students and there is a separate hostel for boys and girls. Single bedroom, double bedroom, 3 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms are also provided. The mess is also attached to the hostel. Every room is furnished with beds, mattresses, study table, chair and cupboard.
Medical facility:
The 24-hour medical facility is provided for the students. Everyone is insured for a medical claim for rupees 75000 and medical claim day-care for 10000.

Open-air Nescafe joint which provides muffins sandwiches coffee soft drinks hot snacks to the students with taking care of their proper hygiene and health.
