Saskatchewan Polytechnic has four campuses namely Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina, and Saskatoon. Following is the description of each campus and facilities provided in them:

Description

  • Saskatoon campus is named after Henry Kelsey and is located in central Saskatchewan on the South Saskatchewan River. 
  • Regina Campus has a total number of students around 3,368. This campus was formerly known as SIAST Wascana Campus.
  • Moose Campus has a total number of 2,918 students it was formerly known as SIAST Palliser Campus.
  • Prince Albert formerly known as SIAST Woodland Campus and has a total number of 2,191 students.

Domestic Applicants

Students can fill the application form either by online or by offline. Following is the detailed explanation of both the processes:

Online Application

  • Choose the right program and review it.
  • Click on the online admissions and create a login account
  • Enter the personal and qualification information.
  • Log in to the account by entering Login ID and Pin
  • Fill the application form
  • Submit application, fee and supporting documents
  • Once the application form is accepted, students are required to pay a tuition fee of amount CAD 500

Documents Required

  1. Submit a Preliminary Statement of High School Standing upon application
  2. Official transcripts for all education

Offline Application

  • Choose the right program and review it.
  • Fill and submit the offline application form along with the supporting documents
  • Filled in application form and all the documents must send to enrolment services before August 1.

Students must ensure that application package contains following items:

  • Completed application form
  • Official High school and post-secondary transcripts
  • Non-refundable application fee and location to where to apply

Domestic applicants with foreign documents

  1. Proof of Residency
  2. Proof of English language proficiency
  3. Transcripts of foreign documents
  4. Submit translated version of documents required for verification

International Applicants

  • Complete the application before May 1
  • Choose the desired program and review it.

Work while you study

As per the recent changes in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) policies students are allowed to work off campus.

Off-campus

To work off-campus students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Have a valid study permit
  2. Study full time in a program at a recognized institution.
  3. Have already started studying
  4. Studying to obtain a degree, diploma or certificate with duration of at least 6 months
  5. Have a SIN (Social Insurance Number)

Work after Graduation

Students graduate from Saskatchewan Polytechnic are eligible to work after graduation. To apply for post-graduation work permit students must match following eligibility requirements:

  1. Must have been a full-time student in Canada
  2. Completed a study program with a minimum duration of 8 months
  3. Apply for the work permit within 90 days of receiving a document declaring completion of studies.
  4. Must have a valid study permit
