The mission of the college is to increase the employability of the students by making them skilled in latest technologies with the help of special trainings & to help our students in realizing their entrepreneurship dreams. The vision of the institute is to meet the demand of Industry we give our students skills in latest technology. For this we have tied up with industry for curriculum design, development and to some extent implementation also. Industry is keen to help us make such diploma engineers that they need. Rapid growth in industry will create a demand for only those diploma engineers who are well trained and skilled in emerging technologies. There is going to be a huge gap between demand of such diversely skilled technicians and their availability. Type : Government polytechnic college,Kullu an initiative taken to bridge the gap between industry demand of skilled diploma holders and actual supply of not so skilled ones. It is a center of excellence where academics and need of industry is blended to impart skill based professional education from first year itself which makes students so employable. The institution has its own central library which contains large numbers of . of books, pertaining to different courses, latest journals, technical and non technical magazines, news papers (English & Hindi). In order help the students belonging to low income group and deprived classes the institution provide free book bank facility. More than 150 nos. of students are being benefited in each semester by this facility. Hostel Facilities are also available at GP Kullu. There will be a separate well maintained Hostel for Boys & Girls . The hostel rooms are well ventilated with separate study table, lockable almirah, neat and clean comfortable beds with mattresses and separate toilet wings for boys & girls.
