It’s important to note that the exam dates vary for online and offline formats. Individual participants should adhere to the online exam schedules for Slot-1 and Slot-2, while schools can choose between conducting the exam online or offline. The registration deadline for schools has been extended to November 20, up from the previous date of September 10, and individual registrations will close on November 30, 2022. The Online Olympiad Exams are set to take place starting December 5, 2022, for Slot 1 of Round 1, and January 9, 2023, for Slot 2 of Round 1. Schools opting for Offline Olympiad Exams must hold their tests beginning November 28, 2022, for Round 1.
About ITO
The Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO), founded in 2012, stands as one of the premier Olympiad organizations in India. It hosts several significant Olympiad examinations across the nation, focusing on scholarship opportunities that align with the school board curriculum. With a partnership that spans over 33,175 schools and a vast network of more than one crore students, ITO aims to equip students with the mental fortitude to tackle challenges and enhance their learning capabilities in their chosen subjects. Each year, the Olympiad exams take place in December and February, engaging a wide array of participants. The organization proudly acknowledges over 200,000 class toppers and has awarded more than 7,000 scholarships.
In the previous academic year, the ITO exams for 2021-22 were conducted in two rounds: Round 1 took place from November 29 to December 11, while Round 2 was held from January 17 to January 22, 2022.

Overview of the Olympiad Exams
International Science Olympiad (ISO)
The Science Olympiad focuses on applied science, assessing students across various topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. This examination consists of two distinct levels.
International Maths Olympiad (IMO)
The Maths Olympiad is held in numerous schools throughout India, welcoming students from class 1 to class 10. All questions are multiple-choice, providing a solid foundation for academic success. Students can register through their schools or participate individually.
English International Olympiad (EIO)
This Olympiad invites students from schools nationwide to showcase their English language skills. The exam is available for students in classes 1 to 10, testing both knowledge and proficiency.
International Computer Olympiad (ICO) or Cyber Olympiad
Open to students from classes 1 to 10, the ICO is also known by various names, including Cyber Olympiad, Informatics Olympiad, and Digital Olympiad. Its goal is to nurture young talent and prepare them for future challenges.
International Drawing Olympiad (IDO)
The Drawing Competition encourages students from classes 1 to 10 to engage in creative expression, balancing academic pursuits with co-curricular activities.
National Essay Olympiad (NESO)
This exam provides students with an opportunity to enhance their language skills through storytelling, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
General Knowledge International Olympiad (GKIO)
The GK Olympiad evaluates students’ general knowledge across a wide range of subjects, including the environment, science and technology, geography, history, and more. It aims to foster the overall development of children.
National Social Studies Olympiad (NSSO)
Conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad, this exam assesses students’ understanding of History, Geography, and Civics. It takes place annually at the national level within school premises.
International Spell E Olympiad (ISEO)
In this competition, students are challenged to spell various words tailored to their age group. As students progress to higher grades, the complexity of the words increases. The questions focus on word analysis, general knowledge, and phonetics, assessing their vocabulary knowledge through phrases, idioms, and more.
National Kindergarten Drawing Olympiad (NKDO)
This Olympiad invites Kindergarten students to demonstrate their artistic talents through drawing tasks assigned to them.
National Kindergarten Handwriting Olympiad (NKHO)
This newly launched Olympiad is designed for Kindergarten students, who are tasked with a copywriting exercise. They must replicate text in either cursive or print. The submissions are evaluated based on criteria such as spacing, size, shape, slant, and overall neatness, with top entries receiving recognition.

In addition to this, the top three medals (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) for each class will only be awarded if there are at least 10 students participating in each subject. A Gold medal can be awarded if the student count is between 5 and 9 in a class for a specific subject.
Indian Talent Olympiad Syllabus
The Olympiad exams are held at both national and international levels for various boards, including State boards, CBSE, and ICSE, covering classes 1 to 10. Students should refer to the specific patterns of their respective boards. Additionally, they can utilize the Olympiad books provided by the Indian Talent Olympiad and review previous years’ question papers. Indian Talent Olympiad Pattern
The duration of the Olympiad exam is 65 minutes, and each question paper for every class consists of two sections. The ITO will be available in both offline and online formats.
