JEE Advanced 2025 Counseling Process
Candidates will need to follow these essential steps during the JEE Advaced counseling for 2025:
- Registration: The first step for candidates is to register online to take part in the counseling process. This involves providing details such as gender, state code of eligibility, nationality, and more. There is no fee required for registration or choice filling.
- Choice Filling and Locking: After completing the registration, candidates must log in using their JEE Main 2025 roll number and password. They should fill in as many choices as they prefer for seat allocation. It’s important for candidates to lock their choices after filling them out; if they fail to do so, the last saved choices will be locked automatically.
- Provisional Seat Allotment: Those who receive a seat allocation can download their “provisional seat allotment letter” along with the e-challan. The e-challan is necessary for paying the seat acceptance fee.
- Seat Acceptance: Candidates are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 20,000 for reserved categories and Rs. 45,000 for general candidates. Payments can be made through SBI Bank Net Banking or via e-challan. It’s crucial for candidates to print the fee payment receipt for future reference.
- Reporting to the Allotted Center: After paying the seat acceptance fee, students must report to the designated center for document verification. The reporting center will confirm the seat after the verification process is complete.
- Reporting to the Allotted Institutions: Once the seat is confirmed, students are required to report to the assigned institution to finalize their admission procedures. It is essential for students to arrive at the college before the specified deadline.
