Reduced Syllabus for JEE Main (As per Previous Year)

In 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has eliminated several topics from the JEE Main syllabus. The revised syllabus aligns closely with the 11th and 12th grade curricula of NCERT/CBSE. The specific topics that have been removed from each subject are as follows:

Physics: The unit on Communication Devices has been excluded from the syllabus.
Chemistry: The topics that have been removed include Surface Chemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, S-block elements, States of Matter, Hydrogen, Alcohols and Phenols, Environmental Chemistry, Ethers, and the chapters on Polymers.
Mathematics: The units on Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning have been removed.

AAT Syllabus:

Freehand Drawing: This involves creating a straightforward representation of an object, accurately depicting its proportions, form, surface texture, and intricate details at an appropriate scale and relative positioning. The focus is on ordinary household items or everyday objects such as appliances and furniture.

Geometrical Drawing: This encompasses tasks related to geometrical representations, including lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, and polygons, as well as the elevation views (side or front) of basic solid shapes like cones, prisms, splayed surface holders, cylinders, and cubes. It also includes the study of plans from an aerial perspective.

Three-dimensional Perception: This refers to the ability to perceive and appreciate three-dimensional forms through building elements, utilizing visualization techniques that involve recalling objects from memory, as well as considering aspects such as volume, color, and orientation.
