The remotely proctored examination will be supervised in real-time using various Artificial Intelligence tools, along with the presence of invigilators.

Subsequent rounds following Round-I, as previously mentioned, will only take place if there are vacant seats available. Any seats that become available after these rounds will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that the eligibility criteria outlined in the Prospectus-2025 are met.

For admission to the BTech Programmes at Lovely Professional University, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are permitted to apply for LPUNEST (BTech).

Qualifying Examination

Candidates intending to take LPUNEST (BTech) should have either completed or be scheduled to complete the final examination of 10+2 in 2025 from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi), a State Board, or any other recognized Council, Institution, or college. The educational board must be acknowledged by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, or any other relevant authoritative body.

Eligibility Criteria for the Qualifying Examination:

Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination (with subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and English) and must qualify in LPUNEST (B.Tech).
A relaxation of 5% is available for candidates from North-East states and Sikkim, Defence Personnel and their Dependents, as well as Wards of Kashmiri Migrants concerning the passing marks in the qualifying examinations.
Additionally, a 10% relaxation is granted to exceptional Sports Persons (i.e., A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship) regarding the passing marks in the qualifying examinations, subject to verification by the University’s Selection Committee, which will include the Head (DSW), Director of Sports, Deputy Director of Sports, the relevant Coach, and a nominee from the Vice Chancellor.
