The program encourages a hands-on approach to learning, fostering independent exploration among scientists. Participants are required to develop a distinctive three-term thesis that emphasizes research focus, aligning with the objectives of the chosen program.
Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Achieve a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) (Hons.) (4 years) or an equivalent qualification, contingent upon qualifying for the LPUNEST*.
*The LPUNEST examination provides candidates with flexible options: it can be taken online with remote proctoring from home (recommended by the university, depending on available resources) or at designated test centers.
Admission Requirements
Admission will be based on merit in the LPUNEST, provided that all eligibility criteria are met.

Fee details and Allied Issues
Fees for subsequent semesters must be settled prior to the conclusion of the teaching period of the preceding semester. The examination fee of Rs. 4500 for the first semester is to be paid alongside the fee for the second semester or beforehand. For fees beyond the programme fee, please consult the section titled ‘Fee for Additional Services/Facilities’ in the ‘General Guidelines for Admissions.’ It is essential to review the ‘Terms and Conditions for LPU Scholarship’ as outlined on the University’s website.
The term ‘Programme fee’ encompasses Tuition and Development fees, University Fee for Registration/Enrolment, as well as fees for Cultural, Sports, Club activities, Co-curricular activities, and other Additional Services/Facilities related to Contingency, Outreach, Placement, Medical, and Counseling, as stipulated by the University. Should there be a reduction in the programme fee for any reason, the scholarship amounts across all categories will be adjusted proportionately; however, the fee post-scholarship will remain unchanged.
It is important to note that no representative of Lovely Professional University will request the transfer of funds to their personal accounts or engage in personal conversations with prospective students or their guardians. Any such occurrences should be reported immediately to int.admissions@lpu.co.in.
For information regarding aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, please refer to the ‘Eligibility’ clause under the General Guidelines for Admissions. Students seeking post-matric scholarships, grants, loans, or other financial assistance from government bodies, semi-government entities, public undertakings, NGOs, private agencies, or any other organizations are required to pay the necessary Programme fee, examination fee, and charges for residential and other facilities before the commencement of classes for each semester until the programme is completed, in accordance with the university’s payment schedule. The university will not engage with scholarship or loan providers and will not be responsible for submitting or uploading any documents related to the applied schemes on behalf of the students.

A Demand Draft or Pay Order should be made payable to “LOVELY FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES” at Jalandhar.
Cash deposits are accepted exclusively at the Division of Admissions located on the University Campus in Phagwara, Punjab.
Credit and debit cards are only permitted for the online submission of applications.
