NEET PG Counselling 2024 – Allotment On 20th Nov
The NEET PG 2024 Counselling will be carried out as a centralized process applicable to all States, Union Territories, and institutions. This counselling is organized on an all-India basis by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the allocation of 50% of the seats under the all-India quota.

NEET PG Counselling Procedure 2024
The counselling procedure consists of the following steps:
Step 1: Counselling Registration:
Access the provided website link.
Select the “New Registration” option.
Complete your registration for the counselling process.
Candidates must retain the password created during registration.
The counselling fee is as follows: Rs. 1000 for AIQ/Central University UR candidates, Rs. 500 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, and Rs. 5000 for candidates from Deemed Universities.
Additionally, candidates are required to pay a tuition fee, which is refundable if no seats are allocated. The tuition fees are:
For AIQ/Central University UR candidates: Rs. 25,000.
For SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates: Rs. 10,000.
For Deemed University candidates: Rs. 2,00,000.
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking:
Following online registration, which is mandatory for participation in the online allotment process, candidates must select their preferred subjects and institutions/colleges in order of priority.
Choices can be modified prior to locking.
During the choice locking period, it is essential to lock the choices to obtain a printed record of the submitted selections.
If a candidate fails to lock their choices, the submitted selections will be automatically locked.
It is advisable to print the filled choices for future reference.
Candidates may enter as many choices as they wish based on their preferences.

Step 3: Seat Allotment:
Subsequent to choice filling, the seat allotment process will commence.
Seats will be allocated to candidates based on their selected choices, seat availability, category, and other relevant factors.
Results will be published on the website across various rounds.
Step 4: Reporting:
Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the designated college/course within the specified timeframe.
No admissions will be permitted after the final date.
State Quota Merit List:
The allocation of seats in state quota or private universities is determined by the results of the NEET PG examination. In the process of compiling the state quota merit list, various factors are considered, including category, subcategory, final eligibility, state category rank, and other reservation policies.
The final merit list is published on the website, based on the merit lists generated by all States, Union Territories, and Institutions. While there is no overarching reservation policy for admissions, certain categories will have reserved seats.
NEET PG Important Instructions
There will be three rounds of counseling for Deemed and Central Universities, followed by a Final Mop Up round at the Institutional Level to address stray vacancies.
Since 2018, students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been eligible to participate in All India Quota Counseling.
Candidates who do not register for Round 1 will only be permitted to register for Round 2.
If candidates choose to apply for both the All India Quota and a Deemed University, they are required to pay only the higher fee, which is Rs. 5000 for the Deemed University.
In the event that a seat is allocated during Round 1, candidates must join the assigned institution or college and complete the admission formalities. Only after this can they opt to participate in the subsequent round (Round 2).
Should there be any discrepancies in the spelling of names on documents, candidates must provide proof that the documents pertain to the same individual, which can be in the form of an affidavit or undertaking.
