Guidelines for schools

Practical examinations for Class 12 will be conducted only by the external examiners appointed by the board. Other guidelines for the schools are following:

• Schools must ensure that the syllabus for practical exams is completed in a timely manner.
• Schools must ensure that all necessary arrangements, such as preparing and stocking laboratories and identifying internal examiners, are completed well in advance.
• Schools must inform all students and parents about the date-sheet for Practical Examinations so that they can take necessary action.
• The school should verify the list of candidates (LOC) appearing for the practical examinations from the online system and ensure that the correct subjects and student categories (regular/compartment/improvement) are reflected accurately.
• The institute’s administration must ensure that an adequate number of practical answer books are received by the schools before the actual date of the practical examinations.
• Marks in the practical examinations should only be awarded based on the correct maximum marks for the practical component of the subject. If any shortcomings are observed regarding any of the above points, the concerned regional office should be contacted.
