Malla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous) – MREC, is one of the top notch and highly reputed engineering colleges in Hyderabad, Telangana. MREC is part of Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MRGI), founded by Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, currently Hon’ble Minister, Labor and Employment, Factories and Skill Development, Govt. of Telangana State, who has invaluable insights into technical education of highest quality. Established in the year 2002, the college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUH. The college offers 12 UG programmes for the students with intake in various specialisations–Computer Science and Engineering (240), Emerging Courses in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(180), Cyber Security(180), Data Science (180) & Internet of Things (60)), Information Technology(60), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(60), Electronics and Communication Engineering(180), Civil Engineering(180), Electrical and Electronics Engineering(120), Mechanical Engineering(240), Mining Engineering(60), and 7PG Programmes for the students with intake in various specialisations – Computer Science and Engineering(30), Structural Engineering(30), Electrical Power Systems(30), VLSI & Embedded Systems(30), Machine Design(30), Thermal Engineering(30) and Master of Business Administration(60). The sanctioned intake for all these 19 programmes is 1620 (UG-1380 and PG-240).
