Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi was established in the year 2001. The institute is also known as MSIT Delhi. MSIT Delhi facilities and infrastructure includes separate hostels for boys on campus. MSIT Delhi boys hostel features single and double occupancy rooms to ensure that students have good accommodation. The hostel has all facilities like water and electricity are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the hostel. The hostel also has an air-conditioned guest room for visiting parents, as well as indoor game facilities and a first-aid facility. Students residing in the hostel can get homely meals at very low prices from a well-maintained mess that is hygienically cleaned and has adequate cooking facilities.
On the campus premises, there are separate hostel facilities for girl students. The girls’ hostel facilities include a water and electricity facility, air-conditioned guest room, indoor game facilities, first-aid facility and mess facility for students.
MSIT Delhi facilities and infrastructure includes a library in the institute for students and staff members. MSIT Delhi features a well-equipped and well-organized central library and book bank. It was founded in 1982 and now provides a well-stocked inventory of textbooks and reference books, journals and periodicals, audio-visuals, CDs, E-resources, and other materials covering a wide range of educational disciplines. MSIT Delhi library facilities include inter-library linkage facility from other libraries through DELNET, subscription to printed periodicals and journals, printed general and technical magazines and newspapers. It has an online document reservation system through Web OPAC. MSIT Delhi has fully air-conditioned reading rooms. It also has access to other online resources like NPTEL, NDL, subject notes, previous year question papers and other useful e-resources.
Football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, and other sports are played on well-kept playgrounds within the institute. There are also facilities for indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, chess, and chinese checkers. These extracurricular activities help in the development of students’ personalities and confidence.
MSIT Delhi facilities include a cafeteria for students in the institute. Invitation– MSIT Delhi placement cell coordinates with recruitment companies and sends them an annexure, which the recruiters must fill out with all relevant information. The placement cell then schedules interviews with various recruiters depending on the compensation packages and other eligibility criteria given by the companies.
Registration– Students must register for the placement drive with the MSIT Delhi placement cell, along with the relevant documents, and students who meet all eligibility criteria will be asked to continue with the recruiting process.
Slot-Allocation– Recruiters will then schedule visits to the campus with MSIT to undertake the recruitment process, which will include a written test, group discussion, and interview.
