J.S University is a UGC recognized university located in Shikohabad, Uttar Pradesh and was established in the year 2015. The University offers higher education in faculties of Basic Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Agriculture, Education, Commerce, Management, Hotel Management, Engineering, Law, Paramedical Sciences and Library Sciences. Candidates can opt for UG, PG and Research level courses of JS University.

For admission to any course offered by the University, candidates’ merit as per percentage of marks or grades secured in last qualifying examination shall be taken into consideration.
Additionally, candidates’ performance in admission test conducted by the University is also considered for final selection in all the courses.
For UG courses, candidate need to pass in 10+2 examination with relevant stream and minimum 50% marks for minimum eligibility.
Furthermore, candidates with good academic background as per standards set by the University are also considered eligible, subject to availability of seats.
The University also offers direct admission in the courses of B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA for which candidates need to apply separately.
Lateral Entry admission in second year of B.Tech is also offered in the merit in the qualifying examination and marks secured in entrance test.
For B.Tech (Lateral entry), candidate must pass Diploma in Technology/Engineering or B.Sc. to become eligible for admission.
For PG courses, candidate need to pass in Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline for recognized university for admission.
Similarly, the University shall allow admission to research programs of M.Phil and Ph.D. through JSU Entrance Test.
The applications can be had in both online and offline mode by remitting an application fee of INR 1000 for Ph.D. courses and INR 500 for UG and PG courses.

JS University UG Admission 2022

JS University offers degree and diploma courses in various disciplines at UG level. Admission to these courses are affected on the basis of merit as per marks secured in the class 12th qualifying examination and performance in JSU Eligibility Test. The university also offers direct admission B.Tech program for which candidate need to pass 10+2 examination in Maths, Physics and any one of the following – Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology with minimum 50% marks.

For admission to B.Tech (Lateral entry), candidate need to pass Diploma with minimum 60% marks of duration three-year to four-year recognized by UP Board of Technical Education in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. with Mathematics. Such candidates need not to appear in the entrance exam.

The minimum eligibility for all the UG programs is 10+2 in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks.

JS University PG Admission 2022

At PG level, the college offers courses in Basic & Allied Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Management, Paramedical, Engineering, Law, Education and Physical Education leading to M.Sc., M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Com, MSW, LLB, MOT, MMLT, MRT, MOOT, M.Ed along with PG Diploma courses. The university also offers B.Ed and B.P.Ed programs to the candidates. The minimum eligibility for admission in PG programs is Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.

The university also offers direct admission to MBA, M.Tech and PG Diploma for which candidates need to pass Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks. The selection of candidates is done through marks secured in graduation and admission test conducted by JSU.

JS University M.Phil & Ph.D Admission 2022

For candidates interested in pursuing research studies, JSU offers degrees in M.Phil and Ph.D in twenty two specializations. The selection criteria to the courses shall remain candidates’ performance in JSU Entrance Test and Personal Interview conducted by the Doctoral Research Committee.

The academic eligibility shall require Master’s degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Candidates appearing in the entrance exam are also required to ‘Pre-Register’ by downloading the Application form from the official website.
The duly filled-in form along with required testimonials, research proposal of at least of two pages and a DD of INR 1100 issued in favour of ‘JS University’, Shikohabad should be sent to the given address:

The University offers online and offline mode of application for which candidate may apply online or can download the form from the official website or can submit application form at the office.

Steps to apply:

Visit the official website of the university and click on Admission Form link.
A pdf file will open which must be downloaded.
Fill the form and submit it to the university office with Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, JS University, Shikohabad.
Candidate can also submit the application form in hand at the university office.
Candidate also have a choice to obtain the application form by post by sending the DD to the university.
