JSS Academy of Technical Education was established in 1998 by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha. It is located in Noida, Uttar Uttar Pradesh. The Institute possesses well-equipped infrastructure. It provides numerous facilities to its students. It includes a library, computer centre, sports complex, laboratories, community centre and recreational facilities. JSSATE has a strength of over 2000 students and more than 250 faculty members. The JSSATE campus provides separate hostel accommodation for both boys and girls.

There are numerous recruiters visiting the campus for hiring the fresh graduates. It includes IBM, Nokia, PLMCC, Schneider Electric Substation Automation Labs are considered as extra facilities for students to involve in innovative ideas. The college is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and UP Technical University. It offers doctoral courses in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering and physics while being under affiliation with UP Technical University. It offers B.Tech, M.Tech and M.B.A. courses under affiliation with AKTU university. It possesses MOUs with Colorado Height University, Denver, USA for the student exchange programme.

More than 500 companies have visited the campus for placement since its inception. The students from various states of the country, including interior parts of Uttar Pradesh take admissions in the college. On average, more than 100 students qualify for GATE each year.

How to Apply for JSS Noida 2022

Admission is through the UP. State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). 100% intake is through the UPSEE based on merit. Steps for applying to secure admission are given below:

The student needs to apply to the institute by filling the online application form along with the application fee.
The students will then have
to appear for UPSEE.
After the declaration of UPSEE result, students would be called for counseling.

JSS Noida Placements

The training and placement cell of JSS Academy of Technical Education headed by TPO (Training & Placement Officer) provides internship and placement opportunities to its students. The institute gives training and proper guidance to assist the students in selecting the right path. The placement runs throughout the academic year in the last week of July.

Renowned organizations take part in the campus recruitment drive of the institute every year. Placements are offered in various industries such as Core Engineering industries, Software development & IT-enabled services, Manufacturing Industries, Consultancy Firms, Finance Companies, Management Organisations.

Some of the top recruiters are IBM, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Genpact, HCL, Samsung, Cognizant, Adobe, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra and many more.

JSSATE Noida Facilities

Boys Hostel

The College has separate hostel facilities for boys. Rooms are spacious, clean, airy and well maintained with common bathrooms and are available on the multi-sharing basis. Each room is provided with beds, wardrobes, study tables and chairs. Round-the-clock power back-up facility is available. Water purifiers and water coolers are installed to provide potable water. Provision has been made for AC equipped rooms to meet the specific requirement of the students. The hostels have limited capacity and will be available for UG students only. The allotment of hostel will be done on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. Hostel has a provision for a visitor(s) room, a spacious well-lit common room with a large television and comfortable seating arrangement, recreational facilities, facilities for indoor games, newspapers & magazines, wi-fi connectivity. Spacious dining rooms and modern kitchens ensure that students are served with nutritious food in a good ambiance. There is a dedicated team consisting of wardens and caretakers to help, guide and solve problems of the borders. Students are advised to read the rules and regulations of the college related to hostel

Library

Library and Information Centre was established in the year 1998 to support the Educational and Research objectives of the institute by providing information in the field of Basic Science, Engineering, Humanities, Management and related fields. The library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of books, e-books, journals and magazines useful for the faculty, students and research community. The Library and Information Center is fully automated and spread over 1260 sq. m. in air-conditioned space. It has a seating capacity of over 350 students in the Reference section. The Library has the good collection of books, journals, reports, dissertations. The library is subscribing 134 international and national journals/magazines.
Sports

Physical education is an integral part of the educational programme designed to promote the optimum development of an individual. It makes one emotionally, mentally and physically strong. The primary aims of physical education have varied, based on the needs of the time and place. Sport is commonly defined as an organized, competitive and skillful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play.
Cafeteria

Besides central Mess facilities, the college has the spacious and well-maintained canteen, providing the students with the choicest of hygienic and delicious Indian dishes.
Auditorium

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Medical/Hospital

A Primary health centre is fully functional at the amenity centre block on the campus. Centre is equipped to provide the medical facilities such as emergency aid, primary daycare admissions, OPD consultation, dressing, intravenous fluids, analgesics and antipyretics and counselling. A doctor and nursing staff is in place and they are available from 9 am to 6 pm daily. The PHC also has transport (on call) facility available to transfer the patients to advanced centres for further treatment.

IT Infrastructure

JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida has a well equipped centralized computer centre to cater to the needs of high profile students and faculty in the college. The Computer Centre division has been serving as the backbone for all IT related activities in JSSATE Noida campus. IT Services has made available round the clock internet access, off-campus VPN access both for faculty as well as for students. An integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is in place for capturing the entire student life cycle.
