UPES Scholarship 2023 Scheme: Scholarship for B.Tech, BBA, LL. B at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. - 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year 3 Special Scholarship
Girl Child Scholarship:
- UPES is offering 25% scholarship to the girl students for the academic year of 2023 for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The scholarship will be offered to the students for the entire duration of the program provided they maintain an attendance of a minimum of 75% and should not have any discipline case against them.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Scholarship (UPES) provides a limited scholarship for a special program and the Final decision of granting a scholarship is with the scholarship committee. the scholarship will be based on the merit list.
- * The scholarship reward is given in the form tuition fee concession
- * All information on the scholarship will be given to the applicant at the time of registration.
- * Scholarship committee takes the final decision of granting the scholarship. The management reserves the right to change the scholarship policy as per their discretion.
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Scholarship 2023
Eligibility criteria – 80% marks in class 10th and 12th with 85% in PCM from CBSE and ICSE board or any recognized board
- * The state will give 50% tuition fee relaxation on 20% seats for State board pass out students.
- * The Scholarship will be renewed in the Second Semester provided the student obtains SGPA of 8/10.
- * The scholarship will be given by category and university rule and regulation.
For Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarship
Eligibility criteria – Minimum 80% marks in each of 10th, 12th class and PCM for B.Tech.: –
- * 150 toppers list from Uttarakhand.
- * The allotment of merit list of one seat per program.
- * Seats will be reserved under this category, those who student 15% reservation for Uttarakhand domicile student.
- * The permanent Residence certificate should have Sthai Niwas Praman Patra.
- * Students will be eligible for one scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Merit or through Uttarakhand Domicile category).
Scholarship: –
- * In the first year 25% tuition fees will be given for boys and 35% tuition fees will be given for girl students.
- * The scholarship will be given by category and university rule and regulation.
- * Those who the student will get SGPA of 8/10 in the second sem. Then the Scholarship will be renewed.

UPES Scholarship for MBA Students:-
Scholarship on offer across the MBA program.
Scholarship:-
- * 25% tuition fee waiver on 5% seats of each programs in first semester.
- * In CAT/XAT should be Minimum 80 percentile.
- *In MAT, NMAT, UPESMET & CMA should be Minimum 90 percentile.
Scholarship Policy:-
- * The scholarship policy based on first-come-first-served basis and the limited seats only.
- * The above eligibility percentage only for the scholarship.
- * Those candidates will get a high score then they need to fill the application form.
- * The scholarship will not be considered in absence of relevant academic scores.
- * Only scholarship committee takes the final decision and the professor takes the decision to change the scholarship policy as per their discretion.

Gate Scholarship:
Students admitted to M. Tech program in the academic session 2023 with valid GATE score 70 percentile and above will be considered for scholarship @ Rs. 12,400/- per month during their period of registration with the University.
Research Grant:
- * Student should be taken Rs 50000 Final decision of granting scholarship is with the scholarship committee. The mentioned percentiles are only the eligibility to apply for the scholarship.
- * The Scholarship 12400 every month for student having 70 percentile and above gate.
- * Those students need to maintain the regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the current semester without having the compartment in any subject . In case of failure, the scholarships amount shall be withdrawn. For the purpose of calculating percentage marks, the total marks in the qualifying examination will be considered only when eligibility criteria are restricted to some subjects.
UPES M.Des Scholarship 2023: –
Teaching Assistantship:
Scholarship @ Rs. 3000/- per month for Students having 80 percentiles in UCEED or UPESDAT (06 Hrs. of work every week on campus from August-May month within 02 years of study)
Qualifying Criteria:
- * After completing the Academic session, the applicant will become to take your award for the Teaching Assistantship.
- * To become eligible for the continuance of the fellowship in subsequent semesters, the students are required
- * All student interview process has to conducted by Dean/Associate Dean/HoD
- * To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to have an earned minimum SGPA / CGPA of 7.5 in the first semester.
- * To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to have discipline, punctuality and good academic performance in each semester passed every semester examination in the first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time
UPES B.Des Scholarship: –
Those who students will get 80% in academics (10, 12) then the university gives 50% tuition fee relaxation and 10% seats in each program from CBSE, ICSE & State Boards pass out students.

All Students will also be eligible to avail of a grant up to a sum of Rs. 50,000/- towards outcome-based research as per rules & regulations framed for the purpose by the University.

Students admitted to the M. Tech program in the academic session 2023-24 with a valid GATE score 70 percentile and above will be considered for scholarship @ Rs. 12,400/- per month during their period of registration with the University.
To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to have
- earned minimum SGPA / CGPA of 8.0 in each semester
- passed every semester examination in the first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time
