Subharti University (SVSU) was established under section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (U.G.C.) Act, 1956, under Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidhaylaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (U.P. Act No.29 of 2008) passed by Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented by the honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008. The University is presently functioning under the auspices of Mahayana Theravada Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust, Meerut, renowned for its exemplary service in the field of education, healthcare and social welfare.
As one of the prominent leaders in the field of education, the University is committed to academic and intellectual growth of individuals in particular and society at large with the eventual goal of nation building.
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS) Noida was established in 2010. It is affiliated to Symbiosis International University. It is a co-ed college which is privately owned. SCMS Noida has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SCMS Noida has been accredited by NAAC and it has been awarded with an ‘A’ grade. The total student enrollment of the college is more than 800. SCMS Noida is located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida lays great emphasis on internships and industry connect. The placement cell of the college regularly holds internship fairs and conducts seminars and workshops. In these workshops experts of the industry are invited to give talks and share their experiences. SCMS Noida placement cell is also responsible for training the students to increase their employability.
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida offers admissions to one course - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). SCMS Noida admissions are done on the basis of entrance examination. The entrance exam is conducted by Symbiosis International University. This is followed by PI-WAT conducted by the college. Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida campus has an area of 10 acres. SCMS Noida provides many facilities to its students. These include hostel facilities, library, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities, alumni association and many more. Scholarships are also provided by the college to meritorious students. Fee waiver is done for the students who have done well in academics.
