The written examination for the Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) position at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 31st.

The written and skill test for the IGNOU JAT took place on July 31 and September 19, 2023. The National Testing Agency, with the support of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), will conduct the second stage written examination for the post of Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) in pen and paper mode. This examination will be conducted for 199 candidates who have finally qualified for the IGNOU Recruitment Examination – 2023.

The IGNOU JAT 2023 examination is scheduled to take place on January 31 at the Delhi center exclusively. The admit card will be made available for download three days prior to the exam date. Candidates can anticipate the NTA to activate the hall ticket download link on January 28.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the Tier I CBT will be required to participate in a skill typing test, which will be conducted in either Hindi or English language. This typing test will be of qualifying nature, with a minimum qualifying speed requirement.

IGNOU JAT 2023 vacancies

The recruitment is held to fill non-teacning posts of Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT). As per the level 2 of 7th CPC, selected candidates will get a salary ranging Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200.
