JEE Main 2024 Form Correction STARTED: Catch Live Updates

The JEE Main 2024 Form Correction Window is now available for candidates. To access this facility, candidates must log in to their respective accounts. The window will be open until December 8, 2024. Only candidates who have successfully completed the application process for JEE Main session 1 and paid the application fee can make corrections. The official website jeemain.nta.ac.in will provide access to the correction window. Candidates can make changes to their details, add or remove papers to appear for, change their exam center, apply for session 2 if they haven’t already, and correct any uploaded photos and documents. There are certain scenarios in which NTA may charge additional fees for JEE Main application form correction. These include: 1. Changing category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. 2. Opting for Paper 2 in addition to Paper 1 or vice-versa. In such cases, candidates will need to pay the balance fee after deducting the application fees paid earlier from the fees to be paid now. It is important to note that the application fee for reserved categories is lower compared to the fees paid by General category students. Therefore, reserved category students will be required to pay the balance fee. However, in all other cases, no additional fee will be charged.

Here are the steps to make corrections in the JEE Main 2024 application form:

1. Go to the official website of JEE Main 2024 – https://jeemain.nta.ac.in

2. On the homepage, locate the link for the JEE Main form correction window and click on it.

3. You will be directed to the login window on the next page. Enter your JEE Main 2024 Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.

4. Click on the ‘Login’ button.

5. Once logged in, click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’ under the login section to access the form editing and correction options.

6. Carefully read the instructions provided and make the necessary changes to the information in the form.

7. After making the changes, remember to save the data and submit the form.

8. Download the revised acknowledgement form for your reference.

9. It is important to note that you should save and submit the final changes before the deadline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will not accept corrections sent through Post, Fax, WhatsApp, Email, or by Hand. Please ensure that you follow these steps to correctly make corrections in your JEE Main 2024 application form.
