SSC CGL CBIC 2023 Document Verification:

The document verification for Inspector CGST and central excise, preventive officer and examiner, executive assistant, and tax assistant in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) through the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2023) starting from December 15th.

The commission has stated that the commencement of document verification, medical assessments, physical examinations, and other pre-appointment procedures is tentatively scheduled to begin from 15th December, 2023 onwards. The specific details regarding the date, time, and venue will be communicated shortly by the respective zone and commissionerate responsible for conducting these formalities.

Candidates are required to bring the necessary documents in their original form along with one set of photocopies during the document verification process for the physical test. These documents include:

1. Matriculation or high school certificate displaying the date of birth.

2. Academic certificates as proof of educational qualification.

3. Original caste and community certificate for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

4. PwD certificate.

5. Income and assets certificate for candidates belonging to the EWS category.

6. Character certificate from two gazetted officers of the central or state government or stipendiary magistrates (three sets in original, covering a minimum of two years).

7. Government-issued identity certificate (three sets in original, covering a minimum of two years).

8. Certificate of fitness from a physician of at least the rank of a civil surgeon.

9. Female candidates should obtain the certificate from a female physician of at least the rank of a civil surgeon.

10. Discharge Certificate and NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the previous employer, if the candidate is currently employed in any central government, state government, autonomous body, or public sector undertaking.

11. Aadhaar card and PAN card.

12. Three sets of color photographs, sized 5cm x 7cm, to be affixed on the attestation forms.
