UGC NET
The declaration of the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET December 2023) result date has been rescheduled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the impact of Cyclone Michaung in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh. The official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, will now announce the UGC NET results for the December 2023 session on January 17.
The announcement of the UGC NET 2023 result was initially planned for January 10. Nevertheless, due to the re-examination conducted by the NTA for candidates impacted by the natural disaster in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, the final results of UGC NET 2023 will now be released on January 17.

A grand total of 945,918 candidates who took part in 83 subjects across 292 cities will have the opportunity to verify their qualifying status on the official website of UGC NET.
The NTA further advised candidates to stay updated with the latest information regarding the examination by visiting the official websites of NTA at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. In case of any queries or assistance, candidates can reach out to the NTA helpline numbers – 011-40759000/69227700.
The examination took place between December 6 and 19. On January 3, the answer key, response sheet, and question paper for all subjects, except Archaeology, were provided. The release of the Archaeology question paper and answer key occurred at a later date. Candidates who took the Archaeology subject can submit objections until January 10 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
According to the marking scheme, each correct answer will receive 2 marks, and there will be no deduction for incorrect responses.
