Central University of Jammu & Kashmir was established in 2011 under Central Universities Act, 2009. The Central University of Jammu & Kashmir is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CU Jammu is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Central University of Jammu & Kashmir is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Central University of Jammu & Kashmir offers courses in the fields of science, management, engineering, arts, education, research, etc. The courses offered by the Central University of Jammu & Kashmir are diploma, B.Sc.
