The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) was formally inaugurated in March of 2009 by the Indian Parliament as a new Central University. The University is fully funded by the Government of India and is located in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. The University was established to meet the challenges of the knowledge era and keep up with the pace of knowledge explosion in higher education.

The University is committed to inculcate quality into all dimensions of higher education. The University aims to be one of India’s most dynamic and vibrant universities, responsive to the changing global trends. Their mission consists of making contributions and works with a sense of commitment towards the educational, cultural, economic, environment, health and social advancement of the region and the nation as a whole.

Its main goal is to facilitate accessible and affordable quality education that equip students with scholarly and professional skills, moral disciplines, and global perspective.

- Boys Hostel
  The Institute recognizes that a major concern to all students and parents is the availability and quality of accommodation and food. There are fully-furnished hostels for boys. To ensure security in Hostels, 24-hour security guards are available. Facilities in each room is furnished with cots, study tables,curtains and storage space. Basic amenities are provided and entertainment facilities in the form of LCD TV with DTH and table-tennis are available in common room of each hostel. Sports facilities like Volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, cricket, chess board, badminton are available in the hostels. Medical facilities and First Aid Box is available at Hostels.
- Girls Hostel
  The Institute recognizes that a major concern to all students and parents is the availability and quality of accommodation and food. There are fully-furnished hostels for boys. - Medical/Hospital
  The “University Health Centre” has a team of professionals providing health care and creating health awareness. Facilities available are: ECG machine, O2 Concentration machine, Nebulization machine, Blood glucose monitoring, Rapid test kits to detect malaria HIV, HBsAg and to check blood group, wheelchair facility in the event of an accident, facility for indoor management, up to date stock of medicines to combat any emergency, well-equipped emergency van with referral facility to higher centre, collaboration with both govt. and private hospitals for easy referral and follow up.

  The university has a gym facility for the students.
- Library
  The university has the library facility for all students.
- Sports
  ports Facilities the University has excellent facilities for sports & games. Regular Sports classes for cricket, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis and others are held. Indoor games facilities available in the University are Chess, Carom and others facilities include Yoga, Aerobics, Athletics such as Shot Put and Tug of War. The University teams are sent every year to the regional and national forum for the participation in the games like Cricket, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Hand Ball, and others.

  University has the facility of One Scorpio and One Mahindra Maximo transport vehicle for movement from Highway to Campus and back. A facility of University Bus is also available for movement on daily basis from Kishangarh to Campus and back. An ambulance is also available to cater during emergency requirements.
