JIMS Rohini Sector 3 Application Process 2020

As a part of the JIMS admission process, applicants are required to download the JIMS application form from the JIMS website and they can apply for any of the courses in online or offline mode. For application form filling, applicants must fill the application form correctly and application fee of Rs. 1000 through Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking for online payment. Candidates can also purchase the application form in person for Rs. 1000 from any of the campus locations and the application form for all the courses can also be issued through postal service by sending a demand draft of Rs 1050 drawn in favour of the college and payable at New Delhi to any of the campus locations.

If a candidate seeks admission to the undergraduate courses offered at Jagannath Institute of Management Studies, Rohini Sector 3, he/ she has to qualify the JIMS Rohini Sector 3 eligibility criteria for UG courses. JIMS Rohini Sector 3 offers the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Vocational Education (B.Voc) as a part of its undergraduate curriculum.

The eligibility criteria for UG programmes at JIMS Rohini Sector 3 states that the student must have completed his/ her education of class 12th or its equivalent from a school that has been affiliated to the ISC, the central or any state board. If the student has failed in any board examination of any subject, he/ she will not be provided admission at the institute. Students who seek admission to the postgraduate courses of JIMS Rohini Sector 3 must go through the eligibility criteria of PG courses at JIMS Rohini before applying. In order to be eligible for the programmes offered by JIMS Rohini Sector 3 at the postgraduate level, students must have completed class 12th as well as graduation. JIMS Rohini Sector 3 provides PG courses in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Vocational Education (M.Voc), Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Students must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field before applying for the PG courses at Jagannath Institute of Management Studies. The university or college from which the students have completed graduation must be recognised by the University Grants Commission. The aggregate percentage of the applicant in graduation must not be less than 50 per cent or an equal CGPA. Students who are appearing for the final semester exams of their undergraduate degree are also permitted to apply for these courses.

JIMS Rohini Sector 3 MBA Eligibility Criteria 2020

For pursuing the course of MBA from JIMS Rohini Sector 3, the student must have completed graduation from any stream with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate. The student must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or college which has been approved by the UGC. Apart from these educational qualifications, the student must also have appeared for any competitive management entrance exam like the Common Admission Test (CAT), the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) etc.

JIMS Rohini Sector 3 Selection Process 2020

The selection of candidates for the courses at JIMS Rohini Sector 3 is done in several rounds. After the application forms of the students are scrutinised, the eligible candidates are called for the round of written test. In this round, candidates are given topics related to the course of study for which they have applied. The library of JIMS Rohini is digitally equipped and provides study material for all courses. Students can access study material related to their subject at the college library. The library provides a conducive environment for the students to grasp the knowledge easily and in a better way. Many books from historic and other social issues are also available at the college library which allows the students to update themselves with the latest issues happening around the world at the current time. Students can also access the notes recorded by the faculty members in audio-video format from the college library.

The canteen of JIMS Rohini provides a wide variety of food options to the students from different cuisines such as Indian, Chinese e.t.c. Bikano cafe is available at the campus providing an extra option to choose from. The Nescafe outlet at the campus serves hot coffee and tea to the students including snacks.

Many labs including DBMS Lab, Data Structures Lab, Object Oriented Programming Lab, Computer Hardware and Technologies Lab and Linux Lab are available at the campus allowing students to explore and experience different technologies. The Internet lab available at the campus allows the students to learn the concept of Multimedia course, website development and fundamental of the Internet practically. Hostels facility is available for boys and girls separately at JIMS Rohini campus. Rooms are allocated on the basis of single and double occupancy.

Social Club

The club is founded on the principles of companionship to inculcate the feelings of communal bonding among the students. As a social club, we are philanthropic as well as creative towards the welfare of the society. We represent the society driven to motivate the students for social welfare. The club organizes various activities like Blood Donation Camp, Crafts Mela, Clothes Donation, Each One teach One Campaign etc. to inculcate the feeling of social consciousness and empathy.

Cultural Club

The purpose of Cultural Club is to promote a vibrant campus experience through organizing various activities like Talent Hunt, Lohri Celebrations, Folk Dance Competition, Traditional Day, Retro – Group Dance competition etc. These activities help in enhancement of personal skills, confidence, team work and collaboration as well as inculcating cultural values.

Sports Club offers a comprehensive range of sports activities striving to promote the physical and mental well being of the students.
