Modern Vidya Niketan Society, established in 1983, started its first group of schools, MVN, Sector17 under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and noted educationist. Sh. Gopal Sharma rose to dizzying heights from a very humble background as a true son of the soil and launched a drive for the unexplored vistas of “Quality Education for All”. It was by virtue of his magnetic personality, charisma and iron will power that he actualized his vision of a Senior Secondary School at Sec 17, an imposing educational institution. Spread over 2.25 acres of land, this school ushered in an era of quality education. Consequently, in 2000, MVN Aravalli Hills was born. Spread across a lush green valley of the Aravalli Hills and occupying an area of 8 acres, it was a mammoth task to erect such an architectural marvel to boldly venture such a phenomenal creation which remains a magnificent to behold.MVN never wavered from its mission of quality education.
Nowhere is this better demonstrated than when Session 2002-03 saw 24 students striding into various prestigious IITs of the nation, followed by 27 proud IITians in 2003-04, 20 IITians in 2004-05, 21 in 2005-06 and excel their own a record breaking 41 students gaining admission into IIT in 2006-07 as well as the 2007-08 sessions. The 2008-09 session saw 140 MVNites making it to the IITs, the highest number from any single institution in India so far. MVN University, Palwal has a placement cell that plays an important role in the recruitment drive. The cell provides career guidance and counselling to the students for their careers. It also conducts technical and soft skill programmes to increase the confidence of the students that will ultimately help during the final placement. The T&P cell bridges the gap between the corporate world and the students. The details of placement procedure are given below:
- Placement Schedule – Firstly a placement schedule is made upon mutual agreement of the recruiting companies and the placement team for conduction the campus drive and the schedule is shared with the students.
- Registration for placement – Candidates have to register for participating in the recruitment drive conducted by different companies.
- Delivery of pre-placement talk – Companies visiting MVNU for conducting placement drive delivers a pre-placement talk for the students in order to make them aware of the basic policies of the company and give an insight about the company and this talk is a two-way communication where the company and students can interact.
- Conduction of Tests – After the pre-placement talk test is taken by the companies in order to judge the Quantitative aptitude, Logical ability, English competency, etc of the students and potential students, qualifying the test moves further in the recruitment drive.
- Group Discussion – Candidates who are successful in qualifying the test will further have to participate in Group Discussion to give a voice to their opinion and present their thoughts in front of the interviewers.
- Personal Interview – Further the candidates have to qualify the interview taken by the companies that may or may not have several rounds. Interviews namely Technical Interview, HR Interview, etc are taken by the companies to know whether the candidate is suitable for the job or not.
