The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has a large campus on NH 65 spanning over 852 acres of land. For a great academic experience as well as comfortable campus life, IIT Jodhpur offers students a number of facilities:
Hostel: The hostel building has state of the art insulation for maintenance of temperature all year. Each student is offered single occupancy in an air-conditioned and semi-furnished room. There is 24×7 WiFi and LAN connection in the hostel for better connectivity. There are water coolers and hot water geysers on each floor along with laundry and housekeeping services. Each hostel building has an elevator for convenience. Sports and other facilities such as TV, reading room, art and music room, carom, table tennis, indoor football, snooker, chess, badminton play area, gymnasiums etc. Students also have access to dedicated hostel parking for vehicles.
Food: There is a dedicated 3-storeyed building with an elevator for dining which can accommodate and cater to up to 1000 students at the same time. The building is fully air-conditioned and serves vegetarian and nonvegetarian delicacies separately. There is a separate food court as well with a vast range of ala carte menu.
Health Care: There is an ISO certified health center located on campus that also provides OPD and ambulance services. The health center has a constituted medical board of doctors from Government Medical College and AIIMS.
Sports: There are several sports facilities including football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, lawn-tennis and badminton grounds. JoSAA
Admission to B.Tech programs is offered through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Students who have appeared for either JEE Mains or JEE Advanced must keep the following points in mind while registering:
- Students having qualified JEE Mains are eligible to apply for seat allotment to NITs only.
- While JEE Advanced qualified candidates can apply to all participating institutions.
- Applicants can fill as many options while registering in the decreasing order.
- In order to be considered for admission according to the given options, students must not forget to lock their choices. Once locked no changes can be made.
- In total, there are 7 rounds for seat allocation where all institutions participate who are a part of it.
- Finally, an acceptance fee must be paid for accepting the seat provisionally.

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.

Eligibility
- The applicants must be GATE qualified and should have passed B.E/B.Tech with 6.5 CGPA (or 60%) for general/unreserved category (55% for reserved category).

STAGE 1:

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur is one of the eight new IITs and is a public university which is established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Indian Government.
