Established in 2001, the institute is also known as NIET. The campus size is spread over an area of 14 acres of land. The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The mission and vision of the college is to provide quality education by fostering innovation and research and achieve academic excellence.

NIET offers courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Management and Research. NIET offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses. The total number of faculty members in the college is 193 and the total number of students enrolled is 4859. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at NIET is 15:1. The institute has secured the 171st rank in the Engineering category in NIRF 2021 Ranking with a score of 33.99 out of 100. The institute has been ranked 43rd in the NIRF 2021 rankings in the pharmacy category.

The college provides many facilities like library, auditorium, sports, gym, medical clinic, laboratories, cafeteria, boys hostel, girls hostel, transport, computer lab, wifi, IT infrastructure, etc. The college also has a placement cell called Career Management Cell. NIET placement cell also conducts various pre-placement training like mock interviews, group discussions and industrial visits. NIET Noida Admissions Process

Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses offered by NIET Greater Noida can do so either through UPSEE counseling or by appearing for the entrance test conducted by the institute.

Candidates applying through the UPSEE entrance exam can register through online mode only.

The college takes admission from 2 sources:

UPSEE Counseling: The student needs to appear for the UPSEE exam and appear in online counseling. There he/she needs to opt NIET as the preferred choice in any of the branches we offer.

Direct Admission: The college has its own admission test which comprises of
- Objective type Aptitude / English test
- Objective type Math test for B.Tech. applications (Students applying for Biotech branch are exempted from Math test)
- Personal Interview

After this, your application and test scores are evaluated to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by AKTU. An admission committee constituted of senior management and faculty members specializing in the field of study review all your application materials. You receive a letter from the Registrar Office, notifying you of your admission status.

Application Procedure

Candidates applying through UPSEE can apply by visiting the AKTU website and filling the online application form.
The candidate must opt for NIET as the preferred choice of the institute while filling the application form.
Application fee payment must be done online via credit/ debit card or net-banking. No other mode of payment is allowed.
Candidates should keep the printout of the confirmation page for record. Candidates are also advised to note down the application form number for any future reference

Boys Hostel

NIET boys hostel facility has a study room, recreational facilities and others. The college hostel provides a comfortable accommodation facility to the outstation students. The rooms are well-ventilated and are available on sharing basis as well as for single individuals.
Girls Hostel

The college provides girls hostel facilities with all necessary services. The rooms are very comfortable and are well-ventilated. Recreational facilities are also available in the hostel. Girls can opt for single accommodation or can avail the facility on sharing basis.
Gym

Students can refresh their minds in their free time in the college gym. NIET gym facilities include modern equipment like still rings, pommel horse, parallel bars, high bars, floor exercise and many more. The college also provides a gym instructor to guide the students.
Library

The college library is very spacious and is spread over an area of 14,000 square feet and is open 24X7 during exam days. NIET library facility has various physical and online resources like textbooks, reference books, periodicals, national and international journals, e-books, etc. There are multiple copies available for each resource in the library. The college library is fully automated and one can borrow books at any time. The library also has trained staff members to assist students.
Sports

NIET sports facility provides both indoor and outdoor games. The outdoor games include basketball, football, handball, cricket, athletics, etc. The college provides indoor games like chess, carrom, badminton and many more. NIET sports department has also started Marathon Club, wherein students and other citizens can actively participate.
Cafeteria

NIET cafeteria facility has hygienically prepared and quality food. Both students and the staff members can spend their free time enjoying the meal in the college cafeteria.
Auditorium

NIET auditorium is very spacious and can accommodate 700 people. The college auditorium is used for organising various events, seminars and important presentations.

- The college has a medical clinic on its campus and has trained medical officers. NIET medical facility is available for both students and staff members.
