College of Engineering, (COER Roorkee) was established by Seth Roshan Lal Jain Trust is the year 1998. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, namely, B.Tech. in eight different specializations and M.Tech. in two different specializations. There are 810 seats and 36 seats in B.Tech. and M.Tech., respectively.

The college has witnessed year-wise placement progress with 84.6% placed in the 2018-19 batch. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, HCL, etc. COER also has relations with many industry leaders like IBM, Infosys Technologies, Microsoft Corporation, and Oracle Corporation to provide students with ample opportunities to learn and to be in touch with the companies and their work culture.

COER plays a dominant role in inculcating quality technical knowledge and moulding students to apply the same for the benefit of society. Students with innovative ideas and thoughts are encouraged. So far, more than five patents have been filed by the college, and this aspect clearly indicates COER’s zeal in innovation.

Apart from the innovative spirit, students at COER are being imparted analytical skills and management competencies. COER is well known for its consolidated industry-institute interface.
