G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College,Andhra Pradesh Established in 1985, G Pulla Reddy Engineering College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The college is accredited by NAAC with a grade of ‘A+’. Since 2006, G Pulla Reddy Engineering College is functioning as an autonomous institution. G Pulla Reddy Engineering College is commonly known as GPREC Kurnool and is managed by G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust, Hyderabad. G Pulla Reddy Engineering College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). Five UG Programmes namely CE, CSE, ECE, EEE, ME are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). G Pulla Reddy Engineering College was ranked 190th in the engineering category in NIRF Rankings 2020. Osmania College

Osmania College, Kurnool, was established in 1947 through the efforts of Dr. M. Abdul Haq and a few following prominent people who were the creamy layer of the Muslim Society:

Application for affiliation was made in October,1946 to the Madras University. Dr. M. Abdul Haq (Founder), Mr. Abdul Hamid Khan, M.L.C., Dr. Syed Abdul Lateef, played an active role and presented a Memorandum to Sir Mirza Ismail, President of His Exalted Highness, the Nizam's Council, for a capital grant of Rs. 2,00,000/- and the college was named as "OSMANIA COLLEGE". Dr. M. Abdul Haq took upon himself the onerous responsibility towards the establishment of the College in 1946-47, which is paying rich dividends to all sections of the society, and to say the least, every house in Kurnool has a graduate from Osmania College.

By efflux of time, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed, Moulvi Moulana Bukhari Sahib have acted as President of the Society and presently Mr. H. Noor Ahmed is the President of the Society, while Dr Javed Rasheed is the Vice-President. Mr. K. Salam Khan, Mr. M. Mahfuzul Haq and Mr. M.A. Haq have extended their services as Secretary of the Governing Body. Dr. M. Anwarul Haq who passed away served the Institution as Principal and Jt. Secretary. Mr.M. Mahfuzul Haq for a long time was the Secretary and Correspondent. Among the other members, the most prominent were Mr. G.A. Salam, Dr. Rasheed Ahmed who worked for the progress of the college. Mr. M. Mahfuzul Haq played a pivotal role in the development and expansion of Educational Institutions viz:

1.Parallel Degree Sections for Women 1986-87. 2.New Courses for B.A., B.Sc.,B.Com.,B.Com (Computers),B.C.A. and B.B.M., 3.B.Ed.,College 4.Law College 5.Hajirah Jr. College for Girls.  

Mr. M.A. Huq, who assumed charge as Secretary in 1997 was largely responsible to introduce M.Sc.(Information System) in 2000-2001.

The Present Secretary & Correspondent, Mrs. Azra Javed is a dynamic person, who handles all the issues with utmost care and great concern with the active help and assistance of all members. She is now at the helm of administration since June, 1999. She has successfully established M.A.,(English), M.A.,(Telugu), M.Sc.,(Mathematics),M.Sc.,(Physics), M.Sc.,(Organic Chemistry) & M.Com.(General) as Co- Education programmes. At the UG level, keeping in view the local needs of the area, the courses, B.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and B.Sc. Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science were started. A number of certificate courses were started as add-on courses. The college also started functioning as an Autonomous Institution from 2005, under her tenure. Further extension of Autonomy was extended by the UGC till 2023-2024. It is a matter of great pride, that under her able stewardship and wise guidance the college was accredited (2007) and re-accredited (2016) by NAAC with 'A' grade.

Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Nandyal was inaugurated on 09.03.1996 by Late Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao, the former Prime Minister of India and Sri N.Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. This institute is one of the top engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The institute has got permanent affiliation from JNTUA Anantapuramu. Silver Jubilee Degree College,Andhra Pradesh Silver Jubilee Government College emerged on the glorious eve of Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Indian Independence in 1972. It is the brain-child of Sri P. V. Narasimha Rao, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh then, who wanted to establish a state-wide institution to forge emotional integration of the people of the three regions of the state when its integration was threatened by the separatist movements. For this lofty ideal, he chose Sri M. V. Rajagopal, I.A.S., the visionary educationist and Principal Secretary of Higher Education of that time. Sri M. V. Rajagopal aimed at giving the best education to the best students irrespective of their financial status. His lofty dream of establishing an ideal academic institution on the model of Cambridge University took the shape of this college.
