AP Goyal Shimla University, Shimla is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of Himachal Pradesh and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is also known as AP Goyal Shimla University. AP Goyal Shimla University is spread over an area of 42 acres. The varsity has 114 faculty members in total. The University commenced its operation from the academic session 2011-12. Galgotias University opened its door to the first batch of approximately 1,700 undergraduate and post-graduate students in July of 2011. Now in year 2021, the university has grown to more than 15000 students.
