Dr. Thomas P John, son of T John set up Marougen Education Foundation, as a Registered Society in 1988. The college is established with the intention of encompassing a variety of courses across different fields in order to enable professional success for students. T John Institute was then set up on a 20-acre land in 1993 that was donated by Sir T John to the Marougen Foundation.
