  4. Aspirants must qualify JEE Main exam. So that they can be shortlisted for the second round exam carried out by IITs. Only the top of 1,50,000 max qualifiers will be shortlisted out of all those who cleared the test. The candidates could not get admission in IITs without qualifying for JEE advanced.
  5. IITs will release the opening and closing rank prescribed by respective IITs for admission, after the announcement of JEE advance result.
  6. After getting shortlisted, the JEE advanced qualifiers must register for the centralized admission process for IITs conducted by JoSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority)
  7. The candidates must download and fill the provisional admission letter from the JoSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) website and fee payment is either by e-challan or online mode.
  1. There are several national and state-level tests like BITSAT, IISC, MHT-CET, VITEEE, SRMJEE, WBJEE, etc. which are also some of the prestigious tags in engineering colleges.
  2. You can apply for these tests after +2(P, C, M).
  3. After shortlisting, you will undergo an interview round.
  4. At last, depending upon merit, you will be selected.
  5. In most private universities, there is an opportunity for getting immediate admission without an entrance score. In some states, there is no entrance exam for B.Tech courses, and the admission is based on Class 12 merit. The fee for these courses is high as compared to those with entrance tests.
