JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for JEE Advanced 2025:
- Nationality: Individuals holding Indian nationality, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), are eligible to apply for the examination.
- Additionally, foreign candidates may apply under the 10% supernumerary seat quota.
- Qualification: Applicants must have completed the 12th-grade examination from a recognized board or university.
- Mandatory Subject: To qualify, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects. Percentage: A minimum score of 75% in the 12th-grade examination is required, with a reduced threshold of 65% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories.
- Number of Attempts: Candidates are permitted to attempt the JEE Advanced examination a maximum of two times within two consecutive years.
- Age Limit: For candidates in the General and OBC categories, the date of birth must be on or after October 1, 2000. SC, ST, and PWD category candidates are granted a relaxation of five years in the age limit.
- JEE Main Performance: To be eligible for the JEE Advanced examination, candidates must rank among the top 250,000 JEE Main qualified individuals.
JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern
