UPSC NDA & NA (1) 2021 Notification Out! A total of 400 vacancies have been released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (I).  The online registration for NDA is started from 30th December 2020 and will close on 19th January 2021. Candidates can apply for NDA 1 2021 by visiting the official website of UPSC www.upsconline.nic.in

NDA 1 2021 online registration will start from 30th December 2020 and the exam will be conducted on 18th April 2021.

Note: The online Applications can be withdrawn from 27.01.2021 to 02.02.2021 till 6:00 PM.

NDA 1 Vacancy 2021

UPSC has released a total of 400 vacancies. In 2020 a single exam was conducted by UPSC for NDA 1 and NDA 2 in which a total of 813 vacancies were released (NDA 1 2020: 418 and NDA 2 2020: 413).

The application fees are Rs 100, however, SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying any application fees. Candidates can pay the application through online and offline mode. 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be aware of eligibility criteria before applying for NDA 2021.

1. For Army Wing:

The aspiring candidates should have passed their 12th class in the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by the State Education Board or a University. 

2. For all the Air Force and the Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :

The aspiring candidates should have passed their 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by the State Education Board or a University.

Note: All the Candidates who are right now appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of the School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Steps to Apply for NDA 1 2021

  1. Visit the UPSC official website https://upsconline.nic.in/
  2. Check the notification and after reading all the instructions. Press “Yes”
  3. Candidates have to fill Part I and Part II of the Application Form.
    1. Part I consists of details like candidate Name, Aadhar number, Preference of branch, etc
    2. Part II- Candidates need to fill in details like exam centre choice, upload the latest photograph and signature, application fee payment, etc.
    3. Note: Photograph and signature must be in JPG format with size 20 KB – 300 KB.
  4. Recheck and verify all the details.
  5. In the next step go through the declaration and tick on the “I Agree” option.
  6. Candidate must take the Print out of confirmation page for future reference.

NDA Selection Procedure 2021
